Adina Apartment Hotel Munich

Fabulous location, just a short walk from the train station and a couple of stops from the center of Munich. I am glad we upgraded to a one bedroom apartment as it meant we could watch TV and relax whilst our son slept. The room facilities were very good with high end appliances. A washer dryer, fridge freezer AND even a small dishwasher. All were a godsend with a small child. The high floor gave us stunning views over the city.

Parking costs were very high so we found free on street parking super close by for the duration of our stay and saved a fortune.

Very clean and very much space. Great view over the city! the pool and the terrase are awesome too!

The stuff was unfriendly and not much help if you need something. I mean if you walk to the reception and you no they noticed you that you are waiting and no one cares…come on…that can be better!

The hotel was much nicer than expected. Great views from the rooms and bar!

Lady running front of house at the restaurant was as rude as could be. This is the only thing stopping me from being a 10/10 experience.

Modern, extraordinary rooms, excellent breakfast. Good location at the east railway station, and cool/arty quarters.

Neighbouring nightclub at Friday and Saturday, ‘til Germany late…

It rained a lot when we were in Munich but we could relax in spa area when sightseeing was not possible. Bed was comfy and rain shower was nice. There are many bars nearby and we could hear some noise but it didn’t bother us at all. Room was cleaned everyday except for Sunday. Maybe many guests checked out and ran out of time on Sunday? WiFi worked very well.

Ostbahnhof was slightly farther than we thought as the station is quite big and S-Bahn platforms/Tram station are opposite side of the hotel. No hair conditioner, body lotion and bathrobe. Our fridge had a very strong garlic smell and kept on making noise.

The hotel was incredible. We were given an apartment with a mountain view, on the 22nd floor! As you came into the apartment, there was a kitchenette with an electric hob, dishwasher and cleaning supplies. There was lots of cutlery, as well as a lot of kitchen utensils. Past there, to your right, was a dining table for four people. There was a large wall-mounted TV, which could be moved to your liking. Finally, there was a large, comfortable sofa-bed. A sliding door seperated the living room with the bedroom. In the bedroom, there was an en-suite bathroom, which had a bath with a rainforest shower (as well as a toilet and sink). The bed itself was very comfortable, with another large TV and had incredible panoramic windows, opening onto the city and the mountains. The room's temperature could be easily adjusted, in two ways, with the air conditioning or the small vents, alongside the windows. The room was perfect! Adina Apartment Hotel's Wellness Area was a highlight. There was a swimming pool, fully stocked Technogym, sauna and a Wellness Corridor with four or five beds, as well as a large balcony with loungers. After coming out of the sauna, we headed either to the pool or the balcony, which was covered with snow at the time, which helped us to cool off. There was a water fountain and towels which were constantly restocked. There was a restaurant, that we sadly did not get to try, as well large conference areas. The staff were very kind and helped us to easily check-in and out. They also responded to any of our requests. There was very convenient underground parking, which cost 26 euros per day. Overall, our stay was extremely pleasant.

The only critique, is that there was no microwave in the room. Otherwise, it was perfect!

The Adina Hotel was the perfect place for our 5 night Munich stay - we loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! It’s location couldn’t have been better for us, 2 mins to the station and then 5 mins to Marien Platz. made it really easy navigating around the city and arriving with all our bags from the station. We also had an awesome view of the city, Ferris wheel and the cute sheep, we loved seeing them every day.

My only two points of minor complaints, house cleaning stopped giving us more toilet paper after our third night which meant we had to ask reception as we ran out twice which was a bit annoying and the cutlery in the kitchen could have been a bit cleaner. But these were minor points and did not affect our stay at all.

The cooking facilities in the room were great, you can make breakfast or dinner and there is a fridge where you can store food. The rooms are very spacious and modern. Big wardrobe, which was helpful since I stayed for a couple of nights. The wifi was really good. The location is great, it is just a 5-minute walk from the Munich Ostbahnhof. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The spa area with sauna, swimming pool and relaxation area was very nice. I didn't try out the gym, but it looked great, with lots of different equipment and machines. The restaurant and the bar area were really great. Rather expensive, but the food and drinks were delicious.

The first room I stayed in was not clean. I found hair (that was not mine) on the bed sheets and in the shower. I complained to the front desk and they moved me to another room without a problem :)

The view from the room is as good as you can get, being one of the tallest buildings in Munich. Multiple landmarks can be seen, and if you like trains you're in for a treat (at least of your window faces the station)! Room is very large with ample sitting area, huge bed, huge TV, perfect shower, handy fridge and mini kitchen. It's a joy to just kick back in the room, seriously. Facilities here are excellent and there was nothing we felt they missed. There's a health club/pool and terrace bar that we didn't really use because we were out and about. Area is very conveniently located close to minor and major transport links. Area is also something a destination in itself, set in the heart of a trendy, up and coming neighbourhood, with bars and eateries within walking distance. There is a progressive ethos here, apparently- on the building below is a roof garden with trees and even chickens! There is contemporary art in the street below.

We had an issue with whichever person (or persons) were making up our room. There were bits that were missed during cleaning- superficial details like crumbs on floor and in one of the kitchenette drawers (this was when we first checked in). Also, annoyingly, the cups were regularly taken away without being replaced, meaning we kept having to contact reception to request more. I hope this issue is resolved soon. I say 'superficial details' because the room feels 'deeply clean', so no mold or anything.

Although not located in the center, it was easy to access the center. It was an area where a large factory site was being developed, and there were interesting buildings and events. The rooms were located on the 13th floor and above, offering a panoramic view of the old city. As development progresses and more buildings are added, the scenery may change, so you may need to check before your stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was upgraded and I stayed in a very comfortable corner room.

The room was thoroughly cleaned, but there were some small pieces of trash left here and there.
