Seaside Park Hotel Leipzig

The location is perfect, right in the center of Leipzig, a lot of cool places nearby. Unfortunately i didn't get an appartment with better view, the one I had was with no view practically but that's okay.

They didn't let me finish my breakfast. Right when 10 am struck the clock i was told to stand up and leave. Also they didn't respond about the parking in messages on booking.com, which later I understood is not even the parking they own but the parking they know about which is pretty nearby and pretty cheap too, which is good (but tags on booking.com about "parking" are misleading a bit). Also the shower room was really strange.

The hotel is really really nice. The 4 stars structure is very well owned and you can have a lot of comfort there. The position is super - in the center.

I did not like the parking method. They do not have a parking lot. There is a parking close to the structure but it is very expensive (~40€ per night) and when we arrived we parked there. I did not check the price. Only in the night, after seeing how much expensive was, I had the idea to ask to the reception and they drove me to the parking in the parallel street - super cheap (12€ for 24h). I did not like because there was no info on booking. But besides that I think that a 4 stars hotel should do a sort of agreement with the parking in the area to assure to their guests the parking at reasonable price.

The location of the property was very good. It was close to both Hauptbahnhof and the city center. The modern style and the beautiful colors of the hotel also. The complimentary of the bottle of sparkling water was a nice touch. A kettle would be good too as it usually happens in four star hotels.

The bed was a little uncomfortable - due to it being quite hard.

Excellent hotel - exceptional location, exceptionally nice staff and very comfortable, air conditioning very good and room well designed. I will stay again.

Minor points - I booked late check out at the time of my arrival but this was not communicated to the cleaning or reception and my door was knocked on twice during this period which was disruptive; Also, it would be great if the hotel bar opened earlier in the day.

Very amiable and attentive staff. Fantastic superior room, we especially appreciated that the WC and shower area were separated. Lovely room decoration and comfortable beds.

No food was served in the evening, which was an unpleasant surprise when tired and hungry. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, but still. For such a hotel, some food options (at least a limited pub menu) are expected. Maybe this was for temporary reasons when we visited.

The location is fabulous, especially if you are traveling by train. An easy walk from the Bahnhof and close to shops, food, and some of my favorite historical spots. The breakfast (not included) is fabulous. The room was smallish but well set up and attractive and I loved being able to look out and see the city happenings. The staff is uniformly (pardon the pun) friendly and helpful.

Only two issues - one is that the shower was awkwardly small. You couldn't really get in without getting hit by the spray. And the other is that I couldn't figure out how to control the temperature in the room. This may have been my fault, because I was always too exhausted at the end of the day to try to understand instructions in German, but it was certainly not obvious.

Nice hotel with good breakfast and amazing location, near the city centre and basically across the street from the train station. It was also quiet enough, maybe because our room was located towards the smaller Nikolai street.

Design is always subjective, but we were not big fans of the bathroom design, with small windows between the room and the shower wall. Because of this, I wouldn't share the room with anyone but my partner.

This hotel was one of the best I ever stayed in Leipzig. The highlights were the location, just in front of the main train station and the park; the minibar to refrigerate your own drinks; one free welcoming bottle of water, and the air-conditioning which helped to cope with the hot days. The noise insulation was very good after closing the window. And I loved the powerful hairdryer of the bathroom! Also the lady from housekeeping was very kind and so polite. I would definitely stay here again!

I think my main issue were the curtains, which didn't cover the window (and the sunlight) completely. So I was being awake every morning by the reflection of the light. I also missed a bit of puffiness on the pillow for extra comfort, but nothing serious.

The location of the hotel and the hotel room was as expected when I made the reservation. Quick access to the city for dinner or drinks. Friendly staff and very clean. Enjoyed the access to the bath rooms from 2 sides.

The bathroom for a suite was small (bath tub shower). However, enjoyed the access to the bath rooms from 2 sides. There were no USB plug - and in today's technology age that is surprising.

The location was excellent - literally over the road from the main station and also situated within an easy walking distance of the town centre. The hotel is tastefully done but in a style of a bygone era with the breakfast area making guests feel they were on the Orient Express. The breakfast - the range and the quality was one of the best I have ever encountered and the maitre de was anxious to ensure that, although we came to breakfast close to the closing time, we didn't have to rush and ensured every item was available for us.
