Best Western Hotel Kaiserslautern

Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of dishes and especially of coffee. Service was good and friendly and staff reacted promptly to a request to replace a light bulb. The room and bed was comfortable and clean. The forest and Wildpark are close enough to take lovely walks.

The only restaurant close to the hotel was closed for the first part of January. Our only possibility of food for dinner was Pizza or Flammkuchen at the hotel. There is also no grocery shop close to the hotel. The shower was clean and worked well, but its floor was not correctly slanted, so water collected in a puddle and drained away very slowly.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room wasn't big, but it had everything we needed. The balcony was a bit tiny, but it was relaxing to have some fresh air. The bed was cozy and clean. The breakfast was excellent. I loved the coffee machines that let you choose your types of coffee, like regular, espresso, cappuccino, or macchiato.

My room did not have a USB plug for charging my phone. Also, I tried but never succeeded in getting washcloths.

The breakfast which was included in the price was excellent! There was a very good selection to choose from and everything was delicious. The bar was great with a pool table inside, comfortable seating, and an outside beer garden as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little outdated and the bed was not very comfortable. No air conditioning inside the room, but there was a fan which was nice. Parking is also limited when it is busy but there is a parking garage which has plenty of places for 5.50 euros a day.

Lovely hotel, spacious room,comfy bed, TV , free WiFi, bathroom with shower. Nice balcony with chair and table. Tea and coffee making facilities. Buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Cooked breakfast and continental breakfast good coffee. Lots of people having breakfast but no delay in getting food. Lovely murals on breakfast area walls. Found a lovely wood to walk in very close to hotel.

Kaiserslautern football team were playing football in Dresden and the match was relayed live to the Kaiserslautern stadium. The noise from the match could be heard all around Kaiserslautern with lots of car horns and fireworks quite late at night.

I loved the breakfast selection. The hours available exceeded industry standard! I started my day off the right was every day! The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, in multiple languages!

Downtown Kaiserslautern is a bit of a maze. This is not Best Western's fault at all! They are truly the diamond in the rough! The wifi, although free and sufficient was a little slow, but that is a 1st world problem.

Nice space, easy to park, good breakfast and comfy room, the lobby and the bar are also very pleasing.

My room had a constant buzzing from the pipes inside the wall in between the bathroom and the bed, the noise kept coming and going all the time. And also the hotel has no restaurant, which made things hard because there is only one (not so good) restaurant in the entire surrounding.

Nice location, clean cosy room. Equpped with tea kettle and mini bar (fridge). Rooms have balconies. All devices operate well. Breakfast is fine.

Would be nice if hotel restaurant is open for dinner. And during summer time air conditioning is dezirable.

Lovely spacious bedroom with comfortable king sized double bed. TV, free WiFi, bathroom with shower. Good breakfast served with lots of choice. Great murals on breakfast room walls. We’ve stayed here before. This time we had Flamkuchen in the bar for our evening meal, they had a vegetarian one too.

Location- Quiet area of the city, but in walking distance from shopping, restaurants and gas stations Breakfast-Lots of Offerings for everyone in the family Clean- Very clean, with space for your things

Parking in their garage is not user friendly

Breakfast exceeded our expectation; it had both hot and cold items.

This hotel is in the middle of apartment blocks/high rises; so it’s pretty noisy due to a high volume of traffic. Moreover since this hotel does not have AC you have to keep the windows open.
