In some ways I am rating this hotel based on all my stays here although this time the beds were not so good - a bit thin. But overall this is an excellent guest house, particularly when you consider the price and the good breakfast. Also with its own restaurant it means you can get a decent evening meal - again at a reasonable price. The staff are helpful. Only thing I would suggest to these German guest houses / hotels - put a kettle in the rooms. I even brought my own tea bags but had to go the kitchen to get hot water.

We stayed here as a family on our way back to the Netherlands by car. It is on the transit route. The room is very nice and reflects its nice location properties. The room is very clean and they employ Covid-19 rules. Because of the outrageous delays imposed by Serbian and Bulgarian border officials we were delayed 7 hours. (Need to add another 30 minutes delay at the Austrian border to force all cars pass slowly in a single line with no specific reason as I see). We had to check in at late and the coordination was made nicely to get the keys. However we came at 07:30 in the morning due to what happened and needed to stay a bit longer. The lady nicely accepted a late checkout until 12:00 which was helpful for us to get some sleep.

The mandatory FFP2 mask you have to buy if you do not bring yours is expensive (2€). Maybe this is a habit in Germany to force-sell masks like this as I bought the same mask in one Shell station for 3€ :(( This is cheaper:) The breakfast is OK. The lady helping with the breakfast is very kind and helpful. The check out at 10:00 is very early but they showed some flexibility as well.

Excellent location for travelers passing nearby the hotel. It's very close to the highway, but from the other side it's nice an quite there. Breakfast was also great. Staff was very friendly and supportive. We arrived very late, they left us clear instructions on how to find our room. Highly recommend this place.

We spend one night at Gasthof Metzgerei Linsmeier. Parking in front of the accommodation is perfect. We had a warm welcome from the staff. The room was clean with comfortable beds and in the morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast!

the rooms are basic, but clean enough, with comfortable beds and extra soft pillows. it was really quiet so you can have a good sleep. breakfast was good enough and well-organized with regards to COVID protection measures. People were welcoming and at the front desk they spoke enough English to get you through. Free parking available on site.

We always stay overnight on our way home here , we like the fact that it’s close to the autobahn. Always clean and welcoming, breakfast is beautiful.

Can’t say anything , we liked everything!

Although we were much to early at the hotel , one of the staff member let us in to our room , what a service ! Room as clean as a whistle quiet and comfortable . The restaurant had a fine choice to anyone's taste . Breakfast was more than enough .

Access from motorway bad as road closed and 15 minute diversion Hotel only 400 yards from junction but unable to access and half hour to get back on motorway great place when roadworks are finished

Very clean, Staff was very kind, good value and good position near motorway.

Our room didn't have Aircon, just a fan, and windows couldn't open as it was towards the shared balcony.

Modern room. Friendly staff, and offered tea/coffee late in the evening. Cute hotel dog. Dog friendly, can bring your dog even to indoor breakfast.
