Pros Very beautiful hotel The staff were super friendly specially the lady at reception Room was decent for one person clean sheets and everywhere as well as the toilet Breakfast was not that big but it didn't need to be it has many things for you to eat and drink It's very warm as a hotel I didn't really need any heating Cons At night the other guests on thw same floor(3rd) were shouting like crazy people but that's not the problem of the hotel people don't have manners in 1-2 am I will definitely revisit or have it on my next when choices when I will return in freiburg

None everything was exceptional

Absolutely charming, attention to detail in decor, design, and function. Took advantage of laundry service, which was prompt and reasonable. Breakfast was exceptional with friendly service and a multitude of offerings buffet style to suit everyone’s taste. While located centrally it was very quiet at night, easy to find from the main train station. Surprised by the free tickets to use public transportation and pleased by nearby parking garage arrangements for our rental car. The hosts thought of everything and more- wunderbar!

Perfectly located for a short or longer stay in Freiburg, The Minerva Hotel is a comfortable, cosy and friendly place to stay. The rooms are a good size and comfortable and the bathroom was a very good size with an excellent shower. The owners and all staff were very friendly and helpful (if you needed any assistance with anything). I particularly enjoyed the wholesome breakfast which was served in the beautiful breakfast room. My second time staying here and I'm glad to say it was as good as the previous time.

The room was spacious and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent. We sat outside on a terrace and chose from a wonderful array of buffet style food. Parking was about 300yds away in a multi-storey car park with a discount for hotel guests. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral, so quite convenient. There are a lot of different types of shop + restaurants and bars. We were there on a Saturday so there was a market around the Cathedral and we were just in time to catch Widor's Tocatta being played for a wedding - magnificent. We had a really nice meal at "Zum Roten Barren" where I have eaten in the past.

The owners are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. The building has a lift which is very useful.

I have booked a single room with my own toilet outside my room. Things worked right alright. But I find it inconvenient. Next time, I would definitely take a better room. But this is not the fault of the hotel as everything was explained in the website.

Friendly welcome and excellent breakfast buffet. Only a 5mn walk to reach the historical center of the city. There's a lift in the hotel and they keep your luggage safe after the check out. Easy parking facilities if you come by car.

Great location that is close to all the main attractions. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Comfortable room and clean bathroom. Convenient parking close to the hotel with discounted parking rates at EUR 13 a day and free public transport tickets.

Could have been vacuumed a bit better other than that everything else was great great value for money.

Second time I stayed. It’s a lovely hotel, in a beautiful building. The staff/owners are so nice and attentive. Breakfast is very good, with a wide selection and eggs made to order.

The hotel was great, quite close to the city center, breakfast was great and you receive a public transportation ticket which was pretty useful.

The price was a bit high, but maybe these are the right prices for the city, did not do a lot of research.

Close to old town . Breakfasts was very good . Rooms clean and comfortable

A fridge and aircon would have been nice . It was very hot when we where there in August.
