Holiday Inn Express Bremen Airport, an IHG Hotel

Located close to the airport and public transportation ("Strassenbahn"). We stayed for one night because of an early flight we had to catch and breakfast starting at 4 am plus walking distance (5 min) to the airport was ideal for being dropped off the night before and not having to worry about Autobahn traffic etc. Standard hotel room. Surprisingly quiet! Best thing was the breakfast though, we were the first ones downstairs to have some, but were blown away by the great selection, fancy beverage machines, fresh rolls, eggs, fruit, yogurt and granola. Yum! Would come back for the breakfast alone! :)

The pull out couch was just okay for my 7 y.o., I was afraid that some fingers or other body parts would have gotten squished in the metal frame of the pull out. Regular bed was okay, a little less width than queen size. Some paint was scraped off the wall in one place, I think I saw a wrapper underneath the couch.

Good size rooms, good beds, 5 mins from highway, pretty good breakfastbuffet, Good service. all in all good stay for affordable price (except for small things that i listed below)

First room we got had only 1 working outlet and tv wasent working. Problably just a fuse in their techroom. Also brownish stain on an otherwise totally white towel with the stain facing out in eye height (towel was hanging on showerwall). We got a new room with working plugs and tv. But this one 1/3 of the water went out of the side of the hose instead of shower head (room 307 btw, i forgot to report it to you guys).

We had a project meeting near the airport and the hotel was quite perfect for this due to the proximity to the meeting place. Transfer from venue to departure hall in less than 5 min by foot! Room was very quite in the evening and had everything you need for a relaxing night. Checkin was easy and the staff was friendly and gave useful advices. Breakfast buffet was failry standard but it had a good variety nevertheless and the staff filled up constantly.

The room had a fridge but it was not connected nor was there a power outlet nearby. TV was also not connected to the ethernet but that was an easy fix. Note that you should not rely on any infrastructure from the airport (stores, bakery, snacks) as most of them close early in the afternoon - it is a small airport!! But there is direct connection to the city center by tram.

Actually everything went well. The hotel is close to the airport, but the tram is close to the hotel & brings you quickly into the city Center. We booked a family room, which exceeded our expectations. Very clean, kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, microwave. The beds were comfortable and the included breakfast was very good.

Actually, there was nothing we did not like. If you want to be closer to town and don’t like taking a tram for fifteen minutes, then this hotel is not for you, but since public transport works impeccable it is hardly a reason not to stay there.

The hotel offers a good breakfast which is included in the hotel fee. The price if you travel with 2 persons is affordable. The room is comfortable, big bathroom and comfortable beds. The shoe polish machine in lobby is excellent to get some shiny shoes / heels.

The view on the parking garage is not the best. The hotel room WiFi is terrible and not stable. You can not work from the 4th floor rooms due this this poor or no existing WiFi. Even the WiFi in the lobby is mediocre as we had to move there to do some work on laptops. There are not many power outlets in the room which could become a problem when you are on a business trip. If you are a solo traveler the price of this hotel could be above budget.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and extremely professional. Even when they were dealing with some difficult guests before us, the man at reception remained friendly and calm, and he really helped us settle in. The breakfast was good, although my friend struggled to find a spoon for her cereal. I would’ve liked an extra pillow, as there was only one per bed, but if I’d have asked for one, I’m sure I would’ve received it.

Maybe separate shampoo/conditioner/body wash, all three combined isn’t very nice to use.

Breakfast was good Wifi was very good location & Transportation facilities - The tram stop is just 5 minute's walk from the hotel. The City center can be reached in 15 minutes Room - Bright compact room with an excellent view of the airport. It has a fridge kettle with tea, coffee Cleanliness of the room - It was top-notch!

The bed was very small. The price could have been a bit lesser

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is situated 5 mins walk away from the airport- you don’t even need a taxi which is awesome! The room was already set up for the four of us after our very long flights, the beds were comfortable, the shower was great and we even made ourselves tea in the room. We also had to bring our cat which thankfully was no problem for the hotel.

The room was maybe a bit too warm and it was not possible to adjust the temperature easily.

The hotel at the airport was closed due to COVID. They made a rebooking to a sister hotel Aparthotel Adaggio in the city. Based on my question of parking place for handicapped persons the hotel staff thought with us and called us that they cannot provide for a handicapped room. We answered that this was very ok, since we would only spend the night. Next contact was about the room not suitable to put a sofa bed for our child: they solved it to offer us a second room. Wonderful! Than at arrival we were positively surprised: we had two connected rooms (with the in between door opened, so in fact a spacious appartment!) Even more surprised we were when we realised that the second appartment in the end was a customed for persons with a handicap.

Big, clean room. The breakfast was also very good. We stayed with 4 people and a dog and in the whereabouts there was a nice path to walk.

Nothing to do with the hotel but more with the guests, we had noise until 2.15 so we did not get a good night's sleep. People next to our room we.here running up and down the corridor, laughing and making noise.
