Logis Hotel Beaudon

In a great location overlooking the lake and castle. You have to park down the road, but that was no issue for us and parking was free. Our room was very clean, with a large comfy bed. There were good continental breakfast choices each day. The staff are absolutely lovely, helpful and cheerful. Lunch and dinner menus had good choices and delish food. We enjoyed it! There was an indicator in the shower to show how much water was used, encouraging guests to conserve water, which was good to see. If we returned to the area, we'd stay again.

The room decor was a little tired, as was the bathroom. It's all perfectly functional but just not as modern as you might see elsewhere. There's no aircon, so if you get hot weather the room will be very hot. Bear in mind you're in a rural french hotel, not a big chain, so manage your expectations! The good things far outweigh the slightly dated decor.

Everything! Location excellent for a stopover or short break; staff extremely helpful, professional and friendly - we were late arriving, but they assured us we'd get a meal, we were late down to breakfast (hadn't put our watches forward!) but they accommodated us regardless; the restaurant menu was varied, imaginative and excellent; the room was large, comfortable and with a superb view of the castle and lake. It was so good we extended our stay and walked in the extensive forest (map provided in local tourist information office).

cosy and familial atmosphere, nice building, perfectly located with a view of the castle. The food was outstanding; absolutely delicious and tasty. staff was super friendly and very accommodating, helpful and always at hand. A stay here is absolutely recommended!!

Everything was fabulous

Wonderful View from the front facing rooms, Windows that you can open for a cool night. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Very friendly staff & management looking to return hopefully this year and i wouldn't change a thing!

Maybe a bit tight for space in the Bathroom, but I'm being picky TBH.

Parking is a small walk from the hotel. Not too much of an effort but the only downside we could think of.

the view from our room was absolutely stunning - directly at the castle and the lake! we also loved the restaurant, the pastries for breakfast were always fresh and delicious. the personel was great too, they were very helpful and friendly :)

Dual aspect room overlooking lake and the chateaux. Good restaurant with a local twist and welcoming hosts. Close to the chateaux, shops and restaurants. Lovely walks and cycle rides on the doorstep.

No parking at the hotel but parking available close by, busy but can be full at weekends.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean & comfortable, family & dog friendly. Nice size family room. Light breakfast available with fresh pastries/fruit, meats & cheese. Minutes walk from Le Château de Pierrefonds. Free parking throughout the area. Numerous food & drink options nearby. Forest biking and walking trails just a hop & skip away from the hotel.

No a/c but despite warm weather we were comfortable with windows open & cooler evening temps.

The room (though a tad small ) was nicely decorated and up to date. Shower was okay, cubicle small, given the space available in the bathroom. View of the castle from the room amazing!

A little too long to wait before we were served at dinner. A lady arrived after us but was served first. She was French however, and that may have played a part in it - or it may not! Room a little small for us, as we had a lot of motorcycling gear.

The location was excellent as were the features of the hotel. Best though was the staff. They were all friendly and the chef was not only excellent in his craft but humble. The whole experience was great!
