Appart'City Niort

Very close proximity to the city center, a minute away from Place de la Brèche. Reasonably priced for the location. Conveniently furnished apartment with bathroom (sink, toilette, shower with toiletries) and small kitchenette (microwave, small electrical stove, mini fridge, cutlery). WiFi and TV set available in the bedroom. Very friendly staff. Late arrival was smoothless with an entry code (digicode) and a safe (with your room key inside) provided upfront. Secured car park available at 200m from the hotel (parking Marcel Paul). A 6euros/day parking card can be acquired at the reception.

Moderate sound proofing of the rooms so you could still hear neighbouring snoring occupants or loud TV program for instance. But reasonably decent insulation though.

we worked our way up from the Pyrenees and found this hotel in Niort perfect for a family of 5 and we were surprised of the room you get 1 double bed 2 singles big bathroom with bath and 2 balcony views perfect for one night and could easily stop for more nights the kitchen area was a added bonus aswell and having a microwave fridge freezer and cooker really helped very welcoming on reception and couldn’t do enough to help Niort is a very lovely town and plenty of shops and restaurants on the front to eat at

The location of the property is excellent and very close to all the amenities of Niort (bars/restaurants/shops etc.). The room was clean and well equipped and, as we were travelling with 2 dogs, the location of our room on the ground floor with doors opening on to a small courtyard was excellent. It was also very nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy a drink in the evening and coffee in the morning. We found the staff very helpful and who also spoke very good English (thanks as my French is poor).

We have found that beds in French hotels tend to be quite firm and this was no exception. We tend to prefer a slightly softer mattress but the bed was not uncomfortable.

The lady at reception was extremely knowledgeable, polite, friendly and helpful. There was a disabled parking space outside the front door so my wife did not have to walk far. There was a good choice of restaurants within very easy walking distance. All the facilities we needed were available within the room. The choice of items for breakfast was extremely good. Outside the room was a small private patio with table and chairs. Ideal for relaxing after our long drive

There was a long hair on the shower wall

Location was perfect for where we needed to be. It was right in the centre of Niort and in walking distance of loads of great places to eat. It was slightly small for 4 people (only a 2 person table in the kitchen) but at the end of the day it was fine for us. The balcony was a lovely place to sit in the evening.

An extra fan would have been very welcomed!

We booked a studio as we have 2 dogs, it was on the first floor right by the lift, so very convenient. Staff really helpful, the studio was very spacious, spotlessly clean, great kitchenette, bathroom spacious also. Wifi and tv super, each room has its own personal wifi code so very secure. location right in the middle of Niort, a 2 minute walk from the main park plaza, plenty of restaurants and bars . The only small issue for us was that we were not able to use the allied car park ( a very reasonable €5 charge° as we had a roof box on the car, however, as things are still quiete we were able to park on the street opposite the appart city, and use the pay machine so not too much of a problem really. Breakfast although a little pricy, was superb. We will definitely be staying here again. cant recommend it highly enough

Clean room with good facilities. Breakfast was truly excellent- great variety and very plentiful. Staff all very helpful. Location was great, near the park and plenty of restaurants

Driving up to the hotel to check in or collect the parking code. Then having to reverse out onto the street. And being blocked in if another car arrived. Chaos. No air conditioning.

Very friendly staff, both at the reception as at breakfast. Tidy, clean room. Very close to center of town. Parking facilities close by for few money. We were only passing through, so for that it was perfect.

The room was equipped as a one room apartment. You had everything you need: cutlery, plates, glasses, small fridge, stove and even a small dishwasher. The bathroom was big and clean. The chip private parking was 5 walking minutes away. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Great price/quality option!
