The location was perfect. The host Bruno was so helpful and such a pleasure to get to know, we had several very enjoyable conversations with him. The breakfast prepared by Fatima was the best we have ever had. Be sure to take advantage of the dinner they offer, it was a 5 course meal with wine and was absolutely the best, and a definite must during your stay.

I guess if anything the 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, but for us it just added to the charm as it is part of the old city, built in the late 1800’s

this is a gorgeous apartment : tastefully decorated, comfortable with great attention to detail. It is in a brilliant and quiet location in the city centre near the station, multiple trams and easy to get around on foot. The hosts are outstanding: helpful, welcoming and full of great advice on anything that you might need. Communication was easy and very quick. The breakfast was generous, very tasty and home cooked.

The apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift : so be aware if you are not very fit. the hosts helped with baggage

The B&B is close to the centre of Montpellier, which is great for accessing anything. Having our own personal breakfast chef was a wonderful surprise. The accommodation is modern, clean and very comfortable.

80 steps up to the fourth floor in 40 degrees of heat were a challenge, Thankfully only twice a day! Our sleep was interrupted, due to the heat, but we did stay during an exceptionally hot week. Air conditioning in the bedroom would have been appreciated. The other bedroom did have air con. Whilst I mention, "the other bedroom", it did come as a shock to us that we were actually sharing the apartment. I don't remember seeing anything about sharing when I booked the accommodation but I may have missed it. Fortunately we sere sharing with two people from Stuttgart in Germany, who both spoke excellent English and were very friendly.

I could never describe the breakfasts that we ate and give them the praise that they deserve. Words are not enough. Fatima put so much love into what she makes for breakfast that you will think you are in an alternate universe. The homemade jams, the cooked apples, the bread, the eggs..... It makes you know that you arrived at a special place that you will always remember.

If you have a hard time walking up steps, you should know it is on the top floor of an old beautiful French building.

Being four floors above ground level in a historic building with high ceilings, makes it a challenge to haul luggage up and down the stairs for people who are not fit enough. Although no real problem for us, it is a feature to be taken into account when booking a room.

Charming flat, very close to city centre but still relatively calm at night. The host was extremely kind preparing super breakfasts in the morning, helping out with good advise and there even was a mountain bike that I could use without extra cost. Felt more like a family stay :-)

Nothing really. Perhaps good to know for people who have a walking disability or very heavy luggage: the flat is on the 4th floor (no elevator).

The host and the staff are super friendly. They leave a very good impression for us to enjoy Montpellier and they made breakfast in-person for us during our stay, breakfast starts between 8:30 to 10:00. The room is huge, the living room is spacious. Special thanks to Jerry helping us to carry our super heavy luggage all up to the 4 floors and being super helpful to give us all the information.

The washing machine took a very long time to wash.

Apartment located on 4th floor, accessed by steep spiral staircase. Our bedroom was situated off the lounge area, with a walk to separate toilet and bathroom. Not en-suite as I had expected

Absolutely everything - the location, the architecture, the interior design, the facilities, the level of comfort and the superb breakfast - but most of all the charming and extremely helpful host.

Some might baulk at four flights of winding stairs - but absolutely worth the effort.

Bruno and Fatima were the ultimate hosts, so warm and welcoming with fantastic tips for restaurants and things to do. Fatima's breakfasts were delicious! The location and facilities were brilliant. We had a wonderful stay!
