A beautiful property with lovely views of the river We only stayed one night en-route to South of France but it was so relaxing. The rooms were were all big and the beds were so super comfortable. It was exceptionally clean throughout. The owner provided an evening meal of salad, sausages and potatoes which was simple but really nice - and there was lots of it! We had an amazing cheese board and couldn't manage the ice cream! Breakfast was really fresh, gorgeous pastries, and there was plenty of other choices - meats and cheese.

Only one - would have preferred a shower to a bath :-)

What an amazing place to stay, if you could dream up a small destination for a few days, this would be it!. Beautiful house and garden on the shores of the river, excellently maintained and friendly owners. Spotlessly clean, Beautiful. I would have stayed for a holiday if I had the time.

Showers in room not easy to use in the bath tub, hose too short, arriving by electric car there is only a low power 230v socket , don't plan on an overnight charge arriving on empty

It is conveniently close to the Autoroute at the other side of the Saone river. Immediately you are outside the concrete jungle. You are in the open. Then you see the place. It looks like a chateau. When you go inside, you go back in time. All facilities are up to modern standards.

We didn't like to leave. A shame that this location is only a stop-over en route to the Mediterranean.

the host is really friendly and helpful The house is so lovely, the garden is beautiful, and the animals are cute, especially the cat, it's so friendly, welcoming us after we parked our car. room is clean, bed is comfy, wifi is good breakfast is great. the host got the bread for us in the morning, it's so fresh and delicious, and I love the French croissant. we would definitely go back to this lovely place again when we are in this area.

Such a stunning property which is beautifully renovated & situated in a lovely mature garden . The house was both formal but with a relaxed atmosphere . Our host was welcoming & friendly . It was good to stay and have wine & charcuterie in the bar area after our long drive .

- beautiful hotel situated in a beautiful garden - very friendly host - great location - 30 min drive from Lyon

- we stayed at the hotel 3 nights and rooms were not clean-up, what was a bit of surprise for us. - better variety of food (for example fruits of veggies) shall be offered for breakfast or communicated more proactively, we didn’t really know what is available.

The property is just stunning and the owner was very welcoming and helpful.

One small little thing, it would be helpful to have a bracket for the shower to be on the wall, together with a shower curtain, so there is an option to shower rather than bathe.

It is just like a little chateau. Very well presented/stylish and beautiful . We also had a lovely 4 course dinner. Breakfast was continental with quality coffee.

Their language skills should improve. They were very polite and we managed to communicate but they are really shy!! They need to open up more, in whatever language!

First of all, the host was super friendly. But then the property is simply amazing, it is beautiful and just the place you need after a long drive. The house is very big, the garden is very big and come on everything is in perfect shape.

Easy access and good secure parking at an impressive building.

Out of the way and a 15 minute drive required to find a restaurant which the hosts kindly pre booked for us. Breakfast was rather basic.
