Oceania Clermont Ferrand

The quietness of the rooms was great. The breakfast was brilliant and full of variety. Staff pleasant. Hotel centrally located very close to the large shopping Square and many restaurants and bars. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Slippers and bathrobe provided for the spa. Don't forget to ask reception to turn on the hamman as otherwise it's off. It takes about 15 mins to heat up.

The beds were a bit hard for our taste. The bar has set opening times, so if you arrive mid afternoon, it's closed, and you have to stay thirsty until it opens at 6 pm. Only one key card given to us. This meant we had to go everywhere together as a keycard is needed for electric in room, spa entry, and to operate the lift. So if one of us wanted to use the spa, the other either had to come or stay in the room with no electric (!)

Have stayed here numerous times - never dissapoints - we were here to see the Tour de France - staff were very helpful. CF is a great city and perfect for a stop off on a journey south. Had dinner in hotel - very good quality dining. Really handy tram stop outside. Safe parking underneath hotel. Perfect!

Happy with everything - we knew what to expect as we have stayed many times before.

charged us for breakast automatically, even though we did not want one but they said its the nomr in France. took about 20 minutes extra at checkout to sort it out you cant really stop a car anywhere on the street outside - you have to hope you dont get a ticket while it waits on the 'no parking spot of the pavement' until you get checked into your room

location, walking distance to centrum attractions breakfast fresh smell in the room, clean good spot for a night sleep in case you made a trip fron NL to Spain

not an easy way to find the hotel parking entrance, I had to call from the street In case of the hotel parking is full then its difficult to park othe car n the street

This was our second stay at this establishment which is easy to find, has secure underground parking, comfortable and well appointed rooms, Rituals toiletries, a spacious walk-in shower, plus friendly and helpful reception staff

The restaurant was closed without prior notice plus the Hammam was undergoing maintenance.

Clermont Ferrand is really an industrial city but it does have an old quarter which is worth seeing. The modern Oceania sits perfectly at the edge of this old quarter which is a few minutes walking distance. It is also right next to the main shopping area. We also found a first class restaurant, again, only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable with ample secure parking. The room was well appointed and the views were magnificent. Staff members were very helpful.

Nice friendly welcoming staff. Large secure car park below hotel for which there is a charge. Hotel only a 10 minute walk from centre of Clermont. Nicely finished and comfortable room.

Large building site on North side of hotel, so rooms on this elevation are subject to noise and a poor view.

Very nice big room with nice view on the mountains while good located, 5 min walk from center/shops/park. Very good breakfast in a wonderful decorated room. Jacuzzi is for free ! People super nice !

Almost perfect, only a fridge was missing on the room...but reception helped to save some personal things in the fridge of reception.

beautiful hotel with a lovely bar and spa facilities

I booked 2 family rooms to sleep 2 adults and 2 children in each one. This was confirmed. on arrival there was no family rooms available and we were given 4 double rooms so the family had to be split up. Over charged also which I would like investigating by the hotel.

Our room was modern and clean. I appreciated how quiet it was. The hotel is well located with easy access to shops, restaurants and park. There is a secure car park. Staff were welcoming. There is a bar and a gym.
