Hotel du Cygne

Dead centre of a bustling little town, plenty of restaurants and bars. €1 bus ride (10mins) to the airport. Hour train to centre of Paris.

The location is great, very close to the cathedral, and the main square. Less than 15 minutes to the railway station. Lots of different restaurants in the neighbourhood. The room was spacious, and generally ok. The girl at the reception desk was very nice.

Unfortunately, when we arrived (about 7 pm) the room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. It wasn't a problem for us, we simply went for a walk, but if we'd been tired after a long trip it could have been annoying. I hope it was just a rare incident. I don't think they have a lift, so be ready to climb the stairs.

Central location close to historical buildings, shopping boutiques and cafes. Hotel du Cygne is a vintage experience with many room features echo the historic setting of the old town of Beauvais. Toasty warm large rooms are quiet and guarantee a peaceful rest

Many places and cafes close early or remain closed on Sunday. So keep this in mind

It was a comfortable room with most of the necessities and relatively inexpensive. It was also right in downtown Beauvais which was convenient.

There were very few amenities: no fridge/freezer, shampoo/conditioner, and basically no body wash. Also the bed was a little stiff, but it was okay for what we needed.

Excellent location, right in the center, close to bus stop, train station is within walking distance, as well. The owner/manager is really-really helpful, he responded within very short time and gave every help we needed (e.g. for late check-in). Nice breakfast. Cosy room (2 adult and 1 child).

Nothing serious. The description and the bottom line of other reviews are in line with what you get.

Very nice owner! He was so accommodating and helpful. Reasonable price, great location, included tea and coffee, large room, extremely easy check-out, even gave us the key to the laundry room to store our checked-bag rather than having to haul it up 3 flights of narrow stairs.

The shower is a bit strange. It looks unfinished. Not really a problem, just the something I found to be a bit off. The kettle was also a bit dirty, but nothing a quick rinse couldn't fix. Something else to note, the stairs are narrow and steep, and there is no elevator. I didn't have any problem with them, but something to be aware of in the case that any members of your group have mobility issues.

The man at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. He gave me a lot of information about everything I needed regarding the bus to the airport and the town as well as instructions for the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, it is a big size and was perfect for my stay. The hotel is in an older building and it is not very modern but I do not mind this and in fact, sometimes I prefer these type of places to big modern hotels but it just depends on your preference. The location in Beauvais is great, right next to the cathedral and main square. I was only staying for one night and it was late so I did not get to see anything but if you are there for sightseeing it would be an excellent location.

The owner was the kindest hotel owner I`ve ever met. We wanted to pay for breakfast but he advised that we won`t have time because our flight is too early - and he was right. He showed us the closest bus station and suggested a good restaurant. The room was more big and comfortable for four people.

It is a 2-star hotel, old, very clean and located close to the supermarket, shops and the bus station to Beauvais airport (the bus ride takes about 45 minutes). The man at the reception is extremely nice, he helped us with all the necessary information.

The fact that it does not have an elevator. But for one evening it didn't bother us.

The man working the reception was so kind and friendly. He made us feel very welcome. He also arranged an airport taxi for our family of six with a prompt and friendly driver. The location was perfect for exploring the city center. We stayed in a family room with beds for six at very reasonable price.

The property is a little old, but we liked it anyway because it has a comforting and cozy feel. But do not expect super modern—which we did not want anyway.
