Best Western Plus Hotel Carlton Annecy

Virtually everything. The reception staff were super friendly. The hotel is in a great location. But if you have a big cart be carteful the parking garage entrance drive in is really narrow.

This hotel allows pets. In the room next to ourt sons there was a couple with a dog which barked of course a bit annoying. Also the dog managed to enter the balcony of our sons, and the owner had to knock on their door to ask to retireve their dfog from my sons balcony. If you stay please ensure that you aks to be placed in a room without a dog next to.

The BWP Carlton Annecy is very close- (straight 8 min walk) to the Annecy bus and train station. Good for day trip to Chamonix to see remaining glacier “Mer de Glace” (Sea of Ice) which takes 2:40 hr. one way. They have excellent receptionist- I forgot the petite lady’s name but she was fast and informative- Helped me get on the wifi to get my QR boarding pass for FlixBus within half an hour of departure. My room 307 had an excellent bed, great water pressure, big towels that were fluffy and smelled nice. I’ve been traveling in Europe for 2 weeks and 8 hotels so I know the difference.

Breakfast was not included in the price but the excellent bakery/pastry shop half way between the bus/train station made up for it. Europe is having a heat wave in June (low to mid 90’s F) but the AC barely worked when set at 18 deg C but the room was always 24.8 deg C. Shower door was off or something but water always leaked on the floor- that’s easily taken care of by placing a small towel to suck the water up.

Excellent location (walking distance to the train station and to the main sights in tbe city) , staff was very attentive, comfortable rooms, very clean.

There could be breakfast a la carte available or at least a small coffee shop for people no willing to have a full buffet. There are breakfast places near the hotel though. I also suggest one more elevator for services, guests had to wait cleaning staff go up and down all the time.

After a long trip, at the destination we were very well received. The check-in formalities were quick and we received a wonderful room. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'm sorry that I don't know the name of the lady who accommodated us and the one with glasses, from the breakfast restaurant. Special thanks. The location of the hotel is very good, close to the center and close to the train station .

On the last day of vacation, the Wi-Fi signal, in the room, was completely missing.

Close proximity to the train station, as well as the old town and the lake. Very helpful staff..

Rooms on the small side; very unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom shower and toilet drains. Called to have it looked at and some substance was poured down both drains, but this did not alleviate the problem. Fortunately we were only there for 3 nights.

Room was cosy and breakfast was good. Location is very good. Near to the bus and train station and to the city.

No aircon in the room and it was noisy when you open the window as the hotel was near the street. We had a room a the lower floor. Only 1 mineral water was provided to the room and throughout the duration of the stay (2 nights).

This is a comfortable modernised hotel in an older building close to the centre of the Old Town part of Annecy, so easy stroll to shops and restaurants. Undergorund parking available by reservation for a fee (think it was 15 euro per night?). Good wifi. Clean comfy beds. Very good buffet breakfast with all you could want, although expensive at 21 euro pp.

The room was very small for the money with barely room to move around, although the bed was very comfortable. Decent size bathroom however.

All of the staff were excellent including Jose and Camille sorry not sure of the others names but they were equally amazing.

it was a little pricey but I suppose you get so many other benefits as you are really close to everything. The room that we actually booked was way to small but the staff had that all sorted for a difference of 10 euros per day.
