Villa Ammende Restaurant and Hotel

1) Good location for walking 2) Very interesting breakfast: eggs, bacon, pancakes and so on as restaurant positions from menu, very beautiful plates, dishes. Tasty cake! 3) Attention to details: cookies in the room, you can fill guest form in the room. 4) Very friendly service and I really like your style, especially plain dresses! 5) Very cozy bathroom: warm floor, bath. 6) I would say it's a really good place for weekend or for holiday because villa is very atmosphere.

1) Not a disadvantage but guests should understand that it's not a new building with great sound isolation. So if you are lucky you have a quiet neighbours.

a wonderful hotel in a historic building, in a great location surrounded by nature, just a few minutes from the sea. The city center is also only a few steps away, but the place is very quiet, very beautiful, very tasty breakfast

Waiting 20 minutes for the menu for dinner is normal even though only 3 or 4 tables are occupied. Waitresses are very good at not seeing newly arrived customers, you have to catch them and ask for attention. We thought that this problem was only in the evening, but in the morning, when we came to have breakfast, it was even worse - we managed to eat the snacks before we got the menu, when we finished eating a very tasty breakfast, another waitress came and... brought the menu. The impression is that no one looks after them, does not tell which waitress serves which table, they are distracted and find other activities than customer service.

Our "Sky Parlor Petite and Cozy" room was cozy but not petite at all, actually much larger then most suprior hotel rooms. Off season price didn't left us any hesitations in acommondation selection. Parking is free and there is alot of space in the courtyard. Location is 5 minutes walk to city centre walking street. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. In fact, it was our 3rd stay in Ammende Villa.

We can't figure out anything significant, what we didn't like.

First and foremost the staff were all exceptional and made our visit just perfect by making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The Villa itself has a really nice atmosphere and has been renowated respectfully to its historic roots. It has all the little elements and details in place you would expect from a hotel of this quality - there isn't really anything to complain about. The breakfast was also remarkable - there was nothing missing from it and the selection of warm foods was delicious and had a local tone to it.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff was polite.

We stayed at the house on the yard. The renovations have not reached these rooms + the walls are quite thin in that building. You obviously get what you pay for and the breakfast was the main reason we chose Ammende. There was actually nothing to complain - we´ve bee there before and we´d visit Ammende again without a doubt.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the fireplace and drinks were amazing, the stuff was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely enjoyed our stay there and definitely we will come back. Breakfast a la carte was incredible, the choice of food was very big and everything was delicious.

In the guest house was a little bit cold but that did not change our positive mood while staying in the villa

The hotel is in a beautiful historical building with nice furniture and a special atmosphere. Both the center of the town and the beach are very close to this hotel situated in a nice park. Breakfast a la carte was really amazing. We could attend for free a popular concert in the garden of the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful.

There is no lift, and it could be a problem for families with children or health issues. The ceiling in our room on the 3rd floor was so low that one needs to remember about it all the time. The breakfast is till 11:00, but when we came at 10:00, "our" food (all fruits and yogurts) was gone and we were obliged to insist to get something. The cleaning was also almost missed one day (we asked for it in the afternoon), and another time we found the dirty cloth in our lavabo...

Everything is exellent

the only thing… our room was in the garden villa, and yes it was written in the booking form, but you see just the pictures of the main building, and you don’t know what is “garden villa”, so if course as you step in in the main palace and after that you are sent to small building in the garden you feel a bit disappointed. i believe it should be very clear explained that you will stay not in the emblematic famous building….

Staff is nice, the house tour was excellent, even the "standard" room would be a suite-standard in a normal hotel. For anyone who appreciates architecture and Art Nouveau interior / buildings this place is a treasure - carefully restored and furnished. It has a la carte breakfast options, good coffee, and also cold selection at breakfast.

We were (unfortunately) there during Beach Grind festival that had the stage in a park next door, and which meant that instead of peace and quiet, we had the whole room vibrating with bass until about 1AM. Not the hotel's fault, but be aware of things happening in Pärnu when booking. The WiFi in our room wasn't working, but probably fault of the in-room broken rooter. No usb / electric plugs next to bed.

Breakfast was great! You have to try the pancakes, they were delicious. Single room was quite small but fine, really clean. The beach is very close, easily walkable, I stayed in February so can't say how it's in the summer but I reckon it's great! City center is about 10 minutes walk, no shops nearby the hotel.

You can hear the footsteps from the second floor room quite clearly to your room on first floor. Shower takes quite a while to give you warm water.
