Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel

The room was comfortable on the whole, pool and facilities well equipped. On site food is very good and value for money. Reception staff and shuttle service staff are very good and helpful generally.

Asking to pay as your food is being served or soon after you have finished is not good. There seems a reluctance to add food and drink to your room or payment being taken after your meal or drinks. Too much attention on collection of money is made which gives you a feeling of distrust. If you are able to afford the $200 a night fee then I am sure the customer can also afford to pay the $50 dinner or bar bill...

location is very good close to airport and big shopping malls in Cairo Staff Staff Staff: all staff were very professional and pleasant to deal with which very hard to find in Cairo! pool was very nice, pool bar was cool check in , check out in few mins. breakfast buffet is the best by far from other hotels I visited in Egypt this year. room cleaning staff were very organized and very pleasant. highly recommended

rooms are small but comfortable. limited internet access to 2 devices per room is not practical given everyone carry labtop, phone, Kids with IPads. this has to change.

Mahmoud Mahmoud Mahmoud at the concierge unit. He made our journey to be smooth and very memorable. We did not make bookings for the cruise thinking we will do them when we arrive in Cairo. To our suprise, everything was fully booked - but not to Mahmoud. He was on the phone call the whole day , literally, to get us space which he successfully did. Thank you so much Mahmoud. Ohh before i forget, we did not get 2 of our bags on arrival at the airport and arrived 4 days later when we were already at the cruise. Guess what, Mahmoud delivered the bags from Cairo to Luxor straight into our cabins. You are such a shining STAR Mahmoud

Lovely breakfast, great staff!! Breakfast staff, Mustafa, Achmed Mohamed, Irene and Saima from housekeeping were outstanding!! All the staff members were more than helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

There was some level of construction going on behind the pool area but I guess this has to be done at some stage and it’s only going to improve the hotel overall . Didn’t really bother us too much to be fair, just a bit noisy!

Hagar is the best part of this hotel. She takes great care of her residents beyond belief. Sarah was very welcoming and polite. The pool looked like a great time but we didn't get a chance to enjoy it. The view from the room was exceptional and the room itself was comfortable. We arrived around 0340 am and the staff was excited to see us and assist. The breakfast food was delicious. This hotel is located within gated walls.

The shower was a raised tub which made getting in and out of tricky. Also the shower pressure was great but didn't have a door so water got everywhere.

I loved everything. Perfect room, big bed, comfy carpets. central heating was fine. big tv. nice room layout Perfect bathroom. shower and shower tub. good lighting. clean and well maintained Perfect facilities. Nice gym, nice on site resources, lounge area. Large open spaces, but the best is the open area heated pool. Perfect staff. friendly and helpful. well spoken and accommodating Perfect food. the breakfast area was nice when you got the freshly made waffles and pancakes or eggs. however was a little busy I preferred to wait to get hot waffles. go early for the breakfast donuts coz the good ones go first Best time ever. Thank you

Hôtel was really comfortable, location was perfectly located between the Egyptian International Exhibition Centre, the city centre and local sights like the Egyptian Museum It's beautifully designed and the staff in general are very professional. The executive lounge was really nice where you have choices of salads, 2 main dishes & deserts to serve as an early dinner if you want. The landscaping around the pool is lush and beautiful. The rooms are really comfortable and clean, we had a lovely view of the pool. House keeping do an amazing job. I actually forgot some Nigerian currency in the room safe and the house keeping staff ran after me just as we were leaving the hotel to return it to me. I forgot his name but he was the same person cleaning our room - 630 / floor for the nights we were there and he always had a warm smile. Definitely an enjoyable stay. Will surely be returning

The breakfast Buffett wasn't too bad, lots of choices but not the most helpful staff at the restaurant.

I particularly enjoyed the following things: - The executive lounge had an amazing menu every single day, with amazing service from the chef Yousef. Marina was also a very hospitable host and made us feel very welcome, and made us feel very comfortable. - The breakfast was also very nice with lovely staff too. - Furthermore they offered great service getting us a private transport to the airport at late notice.

I loved all provided services The team was awesome specially from the reception Mr. Hani Adel & from the house keeping Mr. Mohammad Al juwaily & Wael from concierge team. Breakfast was good The overall team was excellent

The main issue was the doors’ lockers which (I guess ) should be changed,,, big noise & sound from any guest in the floor open or close his door.
