AC Hotel by Marriott Punta Cana

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained, the pool was amazing. Loved the delicious cocktails… best Mojito I’ve ever had!! The rooms were lovely, wonderful view over the pool… everything was very clean, staff were all very kind and helpful. The hotel is situated in a fantastic area… close to two shopping malls, supermarkets and very easy to get an Uber.

The big team of gardeners were working around the pool for a whole day of our 3 day stay - it was incredibly noisy. We also noticed they were about to spray pesticide in the gardens near the pool with guests around… not good and could have made everyone very ill!! We complained and they stopped immediately but that shouldn’t have been done with guests around and not in the hottest point of the day. Reception staff Francoise was great but we never heard anything from the Manager, even though we complained via Marriott Bonvoy about this.

Hotel location is convenient to shopping and numerous restaurant options within walking distance. The hotel staff are exceptional and aim to accommodate their guests as best they can. Uber drivers were always readily available and appear to congregate in close proximity of the hotel.

We didn't take notice of anything not to like about this hotel. The distance to the beach seemed to be the biggest disadvantage however, the super reasonable cost of using Uber in this area more than offsets the negative reviews posted for this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at the AC Hotel in Punta Cana! Every year, I travel alone on my birthday so that I can relax, unwind and explore the world on my own terms. This year was an exceptional one, in part, because of the AC Hotel and its amenities, as well as its courteous and helpful staff. Most travelers to Punta Cana are there for an all inclusive experience. I wanted to explore the DR, so did not want a situation in which I would remain only at my hotel. I felt, however, like I received exclusive treatment, similar to what I would have expected at an all-inclusive resort. The food at the hotel was also exceptional. I have no complaints about my stay, but only good things to report. If you visit Punta Cana, I would highly recommend that you make the AC Hotel your temporary home!

The property is still quite new and very modern. Staff were an absolute delight - a special shout-out to François and Jermaise who made our stay even better. Great local restaurants, supermarkets and bars to check out.

Room could have been a little bigger, windows didn’t open, a balcony is always a great feature too.

The room, the pool area, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, the lobby, the greenspace, the proximity to shopping...everything :)

There were a couple of days where we had to request that more food be brought out for breakfast. Also, sometimes the juice was frozen. We were never given enough face towels in the bathroom. The room was very cold. However, the staff was always willing to accommodate us with more food, more juice, and warm blankets :)

Staff were so loving ,friendly,helpful and kind..I will definitely go back very soon,I hope next time I can get some kind of discount, food was very good and also handled clean.i love it my best three days vocation, please take me back!!

Everything and everyone one.

The service was really very good! Everyone was very helpful and friendly, we felt like coming home. The hotel is modern and chic, everything’s clean and also the room was big and nice equipped. Unfortunately they don’t have balcony rooms but you could use the nice pool area. location was a bit outside, but near nice shopping places!

The buffet breakfast could be a bit more rich but it was very tasty

Very clean, modern and comfortable. Good location close to bars, restaurants, shops and amenities.

The only thing missing was the beach! Although only a short drive away it would be perfect if in walking distance.

I had a blast while I was in Punta Cana. The room and service was awesome!

I woke up at 2am to the sounds of someone having a good time next door. I was able to fall back alseep.

Very clean, everything worked as expected, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location wasn’t next to the beach, but saying that, with taxi and Ubers it wasn’t a problem.
