Sublime Samana

The staff was super kind and attentive, Roni and Angel Gabriel Paulino at the beach were amazing people with us. Activities around the hotel are very nice, I recommend you to contact directly the provider of the activity and not to do it through the hotel because they charge double the price.

The breakfast is horrible, the main dishes also, great place to go but not to eat in their restaurants, expensive and very very bad food.

amazing location, looks beautiful, the suite was spacious. Loved it reception and the security guard really helped us one night when motorbike taxi guys tried to rips us off by charging over 3 times the price of a ride.

It took two/three days to get the password to the internet to our room. For some reason they don’t have it in the rooms and we called and visited reception between 15-20 times to find out what the password is. The same handyman came twice to reset the router when he could clearly see that it was a password issue. it turned out they didn’t want to call their boss or message him to get the password- we basically had to be annoying for one evening and kept on calling until they messaged their boss to get the password. highly frustrating. just put the password in the welcome note and contact your boss as we’re paying guests!! if it hadn’t been for this I would have said 10/10 as we loved it.

needs a little care, the food isn’t very good

This is my fourth stay at Sublime and I love the tranquility, the beach, and the facility. The rooms are very comfortable, best air conditioner!

I feel like the food quality has been downgrading and the service in the restaurants during breakfast time is not very good. Also, during this stay the room was not as clean. I spotted some dust in lots of places. There is also an employee that works in the front desk during the morning that has a very mean attitude.

The beach is very nice and clean, great views. Restaurants are okay, and some of the staff are really great. At reception very helpfull. The beach when walking to the left is incredibly beautifull

Pool looks nice on photo's but is hardly being used, no atmosphere there. The staff is not as friendly as we were used to coming from Punta Cana area (with some exceptions) What is incredibly bad is that no one answers your emails. Trying to get back your deposit is hard work, they simpy refuse to answer your questions or take action. Also their english is really bad considering the fact that most guests don't speak spanish. This level of service is not what you would expect at a SLH hotel. At this moment I returned three weeks ago and still no idea what they will do with deposit.

Beautiful beach, wonderful, friendly staff, ample sun beds, spacious rooms.

The rooms lacked some luxury details. The showers had very low water pressure. The jacuzzis didn’t work— when we requested they be filled, they were filled with cold water and never drained or refilled. Some of the furniture in the house was worn and stained.

Samana peninsula is absolutely beautiful and this hotel is on a magnificent beach. The atmosphere is tranquil, and sea swimming is beautiful. The pools are wonderful too. Nice staff, especially Nikolas at reception who was very helpful Recommend going to El Limon to hike to the waterfall.

Drive to Las Terrenas was short but very busy, mad roads. Need calm nerves to drive there! Worth seeing.

Such a beautiful hotel with really nice and helpful staff. Definitely best place in Las terrenas. For sure I will be back.

Very poor quality food in the restaurant

super secluded beach that has a few small resorts and villas. Not crowded, great for walks and swimming. Hotel grounds are stunning as are the accommodations. Nice little gym and Yoga with Elizabeth. Friendly waiters..Jose, Pedro, Leonardo, Eduardo hope I didn’t miss anyone! Angel was super by the pool. The manager Aida is a lovely , helpful and concerned woman.

We had a couple issues that were resolved the first 2 days. Would be better if they played Soft Dominican music rather than USA soft rock and pop

Staff is friendly and helpful and the place overall beautiful.

Breakfast was horrible. For example staff could not make pancakes that was on the menu. It was hard and not 5 star quality. Same for the waffles and the rest of the breakfast. Even the bread were not fresh and tasted like it was there for a while. Hotel needs to improve food quality especially the breakfast. The same for the pizza margarita. They put so much cheese and it was tasteless. I also found the food two expensive compared to 5 star restaurants in the capital.
