Clean, comfortable bed, the two rooms layout suits our need. Location is good. Staffs are friendly.

I wasn't aware this is a 2 star hotel (I'm unsure if it's indicated on booking.com). I was told there's no kettle in the room is because they're 2 star. So, we had to go to reception to get hot water for making tea. Also charge for leaving luggage at their locker before/after checking in/out. I've stayed at cheap hostal to 5 star hotel around the world. This is the first time I have to pay for leaving the luggage at a star rated hotel. I feel a little gesture of giving customer convenience can be considered here. But again, perhaps all hotels will start charging for leaving luggage before check in?

The location, staff and prive of wakeup was exactly as promised. They were friendly and well meaning. I even lost a personal item and they did everything they could to retrieve it. They are also kind enough to let you use the business centre after checkout. I really enjoyed the experience in general.

During my stay people returning from a night out made so much noise. eI closed to curtains and windows and still it was loud. So from 3 to 5 am I could not sleep decently. It was very stressful for me. I was also unhappy that it was 20DKK extra to get coffee downstairs instead of having tea station in the room. I think there should at least be complimentary filter coffee even downstairs. Cos ultimately you end up with so many extra costs.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the AC was not too loud and could be adjusted easily. Hand soap and shampoo/bodywash are provided so no need to bring any. Staff at reception very helpful, knowledgeable and quick. Breakfast selection was perfectly decent for a western style buffet - different styles of bread, excellent croissants, boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, butter, jams, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffees and juices.

The only thing we couldn't figure out was getting to the parking lot at night. Since Bruun's Galleri is closed during the night, it was unclear how to access our car in the evening.

Two things that stood out for me is the location and the value for money for the kind of room I stayed and the facilities I was offered. It's a stone-throw distance from the main railway station so if you are arriving by train, it is a perfect place to head out to. Good sized, clean room with a comfortable bed and other amenities that you can expect from the Wakeup hotel chains. Main city center, old town of Aarhus, tourist attractions, and great places to eat and drink - almost everything in walking distance! Highly recommended for a short stay within budget.

Amazing hotel, modern, clean. Incredibly practical. We travelled 2A+2CH (age 14 and 15), so they opened the doors in between two rooms, which they unlocked on arrival. Great idea with children. Breakfast is very tasty, and the GF option is available on request. Stuff super friendly. Hotel located close to the bus stop (airport-Aarhus), railway station, town, and Museum of Art. I highly rate this hotel and recommend it definitely. Will use it again soon.

There is nothing to not like on this hotel.

-This is the hotel for anyone who wants a pleasant couple of days in Aarhus. For Aarhus, this is a nice location, close to everything you need. Close to bus and railway, city attractions, restaurants and shops. Polite stuff. Mostly perfect Wi-Fi.

-Bad water pressure in the bathroom. Too expensive, which is probably a consequence of high taxes in Denmark. Generally, those who are not picky, cannot find many problems with this hotel. Of course, it can always be better, but for a few days of stay, this is quite enough.

The location is absolutely stunning, everything is in 10 minutes ahead. It is very quiet and the treatment of the staff is wonderful. Specially at the checking inn🤪Check in took me only 5 minutes. Directions are quite clear and simple to navigate. Breakfast was great. Some restaurants near with excellent meals

The cleanliness is not so high, the sink was clogged but the supplies are excellent. Parking though could be free. Coffee machine could be fine 🤓

Location location location,. Was great,. Just same block with the Central Station 🚉 and a big shopping center,. We drove all the way from Copenhagen,. and there is a parking spot under the shopping centre,. But it cost for parking 🅿 but still it worth it,. Party places are in walking 🚶🏾‍♂️ distance from the hotel 🏩,. Me and my friends (boys) were there for the weekend,. And we are definitely going again,. 🙂🙂🙂❤️🤍

The bathroom (the shower 🚿) place was a bit small for me

The location is good - very close to Central st and almost all popular attractions. The building is new and it is super smart furniture - all u need.

The staff could be a bit more polite. The cleaning lady was a bit rude - knocked aggressively on the door and after we opened said - “Oh you are still here, I will come later”. That happened before 10 o’clock when the checkout is at 11. About the cleaning of the room - there are some small details that could be better, but I am also very strict about cleaning so most likely this is highly clean place for most people’ cleaning perception.

I was doing a trip through Denmark and Germany to meet friends at several locations, and this place has a perfect location to get to the train station very easily, while also being close enough to the city center as well as to a nearby area with nice restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the luggage lockers are very handy. All in all, a super convenient and friendly place.

The bathroom felt a little crammed in, and a few extra or fluffier pillows would be nice, but none of this was to an extent that it bothered me.
