Clarion Hotel Prague City

My family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and outstanding customer service. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed. The location was also excellent, with easy access to local attractions and amenities, close to metro and a lot of coffee and restaurants aroumd. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation experience.

Cleaning room frequency.

It was a very nice experience alltogether. We had a few demands regarding our room, and all were adressed, confirmed and fulfilled upon arival. We marked that we are arriving earlier than check in time and our room was ready around noon, but still early. They have luggage keeping and a nice loundge area if you chose to wait there. Receptionists spoke english well. All employees have a huge smile on their faces and were very kind and helpfull, answerd all our questions. . Best regards to Pavel at the reception :) It was very clean, beds were very comfortable, we got a really quiet room and we didn't hear almost anything from the hallway, neighbours or outside. Heating was working well both for the room and bathroom. Our room was cleaned earlier than planned (usually on your 3rd or 4th day of stay, I forgot) because we left the sign on the door- mostly because we dirtied the 2 piece coffee set and needed fresh towels, which you can also ask for at the reception. The whole hotel smelled lovely and had their own air refresheners. The toileteries (soap, body lotion, body wash...) were really nice also.

As the hotel is eco friendly, they don't clean your room every day, which we didn't mind, but the room could use a broom and a dustpan at least so you can sweep the bathroom of hair. Breakfast isn't really much wow, but when we thought about what they could offer more, we couldn't think of anything. They offer almost everything. Great for a few days, then probably kinda boring to have the sams things, like everywhere. Some of the staff (eg.. at breakfast) didn't speak english, or just a few words but tried their best to understand and explain what they needed, with a big smile.

Location is exceptionally convenient. Metro and tram stops are just few minutes from the hotel. There are many restaurants and cafes just around the corner and a very nice brunch cafe right next to it. Rooms are spacious. I appreciate the fact that the hotel tries to reduce the carbon footprint by reducing the unnecessary daily cleaning.

Now, I suppose it's because of the AC, but the windows can't be open and personally it made me feel a bit claustrophobic. Breakfast selection is decent but I expected a bit more.

Clean and very quiet place in the center. Our window faced the inner courtyard and it was so quiet and peaceful. We had good sleep. The room might be not very spacious for 2 adults and 1 kid, but that wasn’t a problem for us. friendly stuff!

We where extra charged for separate sleeping place for 9 yo child. 90€ per 3 nights. It wasn’t specified or mentioned anywhere while booking that you have to pay additionally for separate bed for your kid or sleep threesome on one bed, which is absolutely impossible with almost teenaged kid. Also my credit card was charged aprox 60€ additionally, resulted +150€ more to the bill that we expected. It might be some conversion fee, if your credit card currency is not Czech crones. Please take it into consideration and better order a room for 3 and use cash.

Value for money: just a few steps from many tram lines, few more steps to 2 metro lines, but..., from here, you can also do everything on foot too! Rooms were nice, as on pictures, breakfast was excellent, staff was welcoming and helpful! Exchange is just across the street, few fast foods that are open late are there as well, and if you can't figure out parking system, there are few private garages nearby.

At first, we received a room on the top floor which was very hot and we only had roof windows without a view. The airconditioning didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed. We told this to Pavla, the reception manager and she was very professional and nice about it. She offered us a fan, a discount and a better room for our third and last night. This made everything okay for us. Sometimes a hotel can’t fix a problem but they can try and do their best to look for other solutions and that is what Pavla did. So thank you! The bathroom was very clean and practical. Breakfast was good and varied.

Breakfast was delicious, good for all the needs. Room was clean, bathroom was spatious and very clean. Once in 3 days they were coming to change the bed lines towels, or they changed them upon request. We had AC, fridge, hair dryier, ironing machine, safe box, electric kettle, coffee and tea, in the room.

We could not open the windows. I do not know the reason. Even though we paid the entire amount for 1 room, the hotel tried to retriger the same amount once again, on the same date when we arrived, before our check in. It was good that we did not have the amount on the card.

Everything was excellent. Hotel is location in great and in beautiful location. There is a public transportation within 1-2 minutes of walk (metro, tram). There is a small market near entry to hotel with fresh vegetables and fruits that works during morning hours some days a week - this alone a great addition:). Hotel staff is very nice and responded very quickly to any our request.

The Hotel location was good accessable to almost everything with in 15 minutes walk you are in city center. The reception staff very very poilt and welcoming. Rooms was clean and bathrooms was very clean.

We could not connect to WIFI and after reception contacted the support team they have asked for our iPhones MAC address to add us manually to the wifi which i find it not proper and not safe. So we had to use our own wifi.

The location of the hotel is superb, next to a small park with lots of affordable restaurants just nearby. It's a 2 min walk from the Subway station I.M.Pavlova on the red line (C). Our room was spacious, very quiet and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was plenty and delicious. Staff was very nice and helpful.

I liked everything. Would come back anytime.
