Hotel Vista

We were forced to check in late by Natural causes - but even at 00:00 reception people were polight, helping us in all possilbe ways and stay itself was very comfortable and relaxing. If not the breackfast - i would definitely mark it 10.

Breackfast. Total disaster. Small room where all of the clients just can not fit - so you need to stay in row to get in to stay in the row to get food and later to try to seach for eating place to sit. Food, itself, was good - if it would be enough for all.

Hotel Vista is a large, custom-built warehouse for storing people, rising over several floors on the outskirts of the city centre. Having said that, it's an attractively appointed warehouse that greets you with a spotlessly clean and well-decorated reception area that suggests a hotel of a higher grade and price! Check-in was efficient and friendly. There are two lifts serving all floors andall the public areas are kept clean. There is ample offstreet parking and a short walk will bring you the tram stop for the city centre. The tram journey is between 10 - 15 minutes. There is a large restaurant serving meals up to around 9 or 10pm. However, the biggest plus was the breakfast - it is excellent, with a huge choice, including for vegetarians. Also, there are plenty of staff around at breakfast time, so food is constantly being replaced and tables cleared. My family and I would stay here again if only for the breakfast.

There is wifi in all areas with no password, but we found it too patchy to be effective so couldn't use it. Also, the lack of password calls into question the security of the network. Being a custom-built modern high-rise, the building lacks character and the rooms are no more than functional.

as the location is not so close to the center of the town, is at 100mt to one of the main street of the town that take you right straight to the center: there's bus and tram passing by very oftenly. its cleaning and personal is kind and prepared, the room was big and comfortable, free parking around the hotel. With a car you can reach it very fast because it is close to an highway exit, the breakfast was good and fresh. The price average is really good

i would increase a bit the cleaning (there was hairs in the toilet), there was a kitchen in the room but no tools and no water or food. i would book this hotel anyway

Check in was good. The room was clean. There were towels, some hot drinks for make yourself. Breakfest was cool, different kind od meals, fruits, vegetables, eggs, brads, yogurts, juice, coffee. Check out was also ok.

The stuff was a bit angry, no one smiled at us. I expected more emotion. 14 days earlier my collegue was in different hotel in the middle od the city and they had bigger appartment, with two rooms and big bathroom, with welcome drink - bottle of wine, for less money! How can this happened?

Nice hotel with good location in Brno (close to city center). Breakfast was amazing and the room was nice and comfy with aircon. Staff is very friendly and helpful as - we forgot some clothes in our room and they easily shipped it to our home to Slovakia. Restaurant offers good choices and they have very nice aquarium inside. The price was reasonable, thus I would definitely recommend this one to everyone.

Parking can not be reserved, thus it might happen that you come and it will be full. There are some available parking spots close to hotel though.

A decent 4 star. The room was quite spacious with comfortable and huge beds. Simple, practical and functional furniture with sufficient storage space. The breakfast was tasty with sufficient variety. Staff professional and polite. Overall, the hotel is a solid performer if you prefer function and simplicity.

The showerbox was one of the cheaper ones, suffered from the white plastic yellowing, but was clean. More dust in the wardrobes than anticipated. Nothing that serious.

Building was well organised. Hotel room was with wonderful interior. Really enjoyed breakfast area and service.

Business apartment second room (with orange sofa) was kind of empty or the interior was missing some details. Kitchenette did not have dish washing liquid and brush etc. The lady in the main desk was overloaded or tired. We asked about baby cot and she said that if cleaning lady is still in the house than it might be possible. We waited in the room but didn’t get any feedback about it. It’s perfectly fine to say that unfortunately it is not possible as it’s been booked too late etc.

The hotel is generally nice - with free parking right near the entrance and a restaurant inside working till 22:00 (which is nice if you are in transit and just stay for 1 night to get rest without any desire to look for smth around). We booked standard triple room and asked for lower floor which was taken into account. Instead of standard triple room we were even given a two-room accommodation - rather spacious, clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage was a broken sofa in the second room, but not that critical for 1 night stay. The breakfast was excellent - with big choice of tasty meal and beverages. But it was rather crowdy in the restaurant in the morning.

Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spacious, the kitchen was nice and there was a washing machine in the bathroom. There was extra coffee and tea. The staff was nice. The hotel was clean.

The bathroom sink was broken (cracked) and there was a water leakage at the ceiling corner from the room above us. The extra bed was absolutely terrible, hard. The bed linen had a hole in it and the bed sheet looked dirty. It had lots of black lints on it. The ventilator in the bathroom and toilet went for like 30 seconds and then it stopped so it was basically useless. There was nothing to wash the dishes with (soap and sponge missing) There was a small TV in the bedroom but no TV in the livingroom area. Spots on the walls, it would need to be painted.

Good size of the room with comfortable beds, size of the toilets and bathroom sufficient. Would prefer to have toilet separately though. Good selection for the breakfast, great and tasty espresso (which is not the case normally in breakfast restaurant). Friendly staff.

Lack of electricity sockets - especially next to the bed.
