Location with spectacular view of the Arenal volcano and lovely grounds area and pool. A nice pathway from the cabins to the breakfast/reception area with a small hanging bridge over a stream surrounded by lush plants. We saw many varieties of birds, Tucan, La Pava (Crested Guan), hummingbird s galore, Laughing Falcon and many more. Anthony and Eisel along with the rest of the personnel were very kind and accommodating. They serve a delicious breakfast offered every morning with fresh fruit and traditional rice, beans eggs, cheese, toast etc. Rooms are clean and beds are relatively comfortable although a bit on the firm side for me. After a full day of activity I had no trouble sleeping. Anthony was helpful with setting up our transportation to and from LAFortuna and to various destinations. Use of a translator app was very helpful to communicate with everyone.

I would have preferred a softer bed. Closer attention to the # of people in the room because we only had set up for 2 people instead of 3. This would not have been an issue if we realized it earlier before the reception area was closed. Just a minor inconvenience.

Very nice, clean and well maintained location outside the town but not too far from a few good dining options. Perfect place were to switch off and relax, at walking distance from the free Chollín river thermal waters. Special thanks to Eisel, the lady managing the place, always ready to help with everything i needed, from laundry, to advices regarding the area as well as tours reservations and transportation to the airport. All crew in general was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place to everyone that is planning a relaxing and issues-free holiday in this area.

Breakfast was in a beautiful setting, open air, delicious with wonderful staff. There was a suspension bridge connecting the rooms to the office/breakfast area which was so fun to visit every morning. The room was simple and provided comfort at night, and a patio to sit on during the day. The wildlife around the hotel was beautiful with fresh coconuts, hummingbirds, diverse plants and a sloth! The place is extremely well kept and Antony and the rest of the staff went above and beyond. The pool is so relaxing and relatively new with a cabana for bbqing, hanging out if it rained.

Heizel made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and helped get us into our room earlier than the check in time stated. We love that the place had lots of flora which attracted hummingbirds and we enjoyed watching these during our breakfast and whilst in the seating area outside our bedroom. We also saw monkeys in the trees and a variety of other birds. There is a cool bridge from the reception building to the bedroom areas which we found was a nice touch! Heizel also taught us about some of the fruit they grow there that we must try, and gave us advice on taxi fares and what to accept so we didn't get overcharged. My Spanish is very poor but she was patient with me and explained everything slowly - if she is there when you visit then do have a chat! She is the one always smiling. The location was great in terms of being walking distance from the Arenal volcano so we walked over there for a hike up to the lava fields, it's also walking distance to the hot springs and some restaurants so I highly recommend Confort Arenal if you want to make the most of the wildlife around you in a comfortable setting with great service.

The windows didn't quite shut fully so at night a few moths and mosquitos got in, but we had bug spray and our room also had two adorable lizards that quickly hunted the mosquitos down so it really wasn't an issue but recommend you bring mosquito repellent just in case :)

The location is perfect for visiting Mistico Park, doing the 1968 trail and visiting the Parque Ecologico Arenal. Visiting the town of La Fortuna at night to have diner is just a 10-15 minute drive on a road with good condition. The women who managed the place when we were there was really kind and she provided us a good breakfast each morning. There was a little language barrier since we didn’t speak Spanish, but using Google Translate worked out good :).

The stay was amazing. The little house had everything that you needed. Tha staff was extraordinary. Our son was sick and we got a lot of help. So heartwarming and friendly! The garden and pool area was very nice too. The breakfast was super delicious. The hotel is in perfect reach to all the activities next to the Arenal (f.e. the national park, 1968 park, Zipline, hanging bridges...) and not in the crowded city of La Fortuna.

Even we did not started our relationship with the staff very well we managed to get it improved and at the end were very nice, very nice location, excellent property

if you book the standard rooms and you are sensitive to noise, please pay attention as the phonic isolation is not the stronger point of these accommodations ;-) but with ears plugs you definitively will manage ;-) as the rest will cover this small inconvenient (super location)

Exceptionally helpful staff, but being able to speak some Spanish is useful for guest. The property is very attractive, with a short hanging bridge between cabins and office area, and sometimes monkeys and sloths are seen up in the trees. A beautiful swimming pool will be opening soon! Breakfast is very good.

I wish the swimming pool had been finished. We came a few weeks too early.

Great experience, the hosts are wonderful and there's nothing they won't do for you. They organised our trips, made effort with our kids to show them the creatures/plants etc of the property and the new pool is lovely!

You can't walk in to the town but don't let that put you off if you don't have a car as the taxis are so cheap and it's nice to be have the tranquility that's offered here.

Very helpful owner. Nice rooms in scenic setting overlooking the volcano. Excellent breakfast . Very pleasant swimming pool area. Convenient for volcano walk.

No nearby shops to buy food. Two restaurants nearby but one closes late afternoon and the other was also closed one evening. Could be better facilities for drinks and snacks on site. Virtually no English spoken so we had to go to La Fortuna to arrange trips
