Breakfast was excellent, staff were great! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable!

We booked a Concept Suite that should have had a hot tub but did not. We swapped rooms to a Canal King.

They noticed it was a birthday trip from the date on the passport. They prepared a special birthday cake and fruit basket and surprised us with it. They didn't charge for any of it.

There were a few mosquitos that got into the room, but it's not the fault of the hotel. Just the time of year and the weather,.

There is no place for a quick bite outside the normal meal hours. No shuttle bus to nearby sites.

Everything was superb: food, environment, service, the room. Especially Kelly from the restaurant was very helpful and gave an exceptional service. I was impressed by the overall English speaking level compared to many other big hotel chains in China.

The information regarding dining opportunities on the hotel was lacking both from the front desk and in the rooms. Also prices and offers from the spa was not available in the rooms. Also the some of the prices for drinks are totally unreasonable, 58 RMB for a can beer (Heineken or Tsingtao), which costs 15 RMB on the room.

Breakfast was good, room was large and clean and had nice amenities including a Nespresso machine. Grounds were well kept and clean. The kids club was small but nice for our toddler. Hotel makes efforts to entertain guests such as foam at the pool and Oktoberfest.

Some of the food and drink is extortionately priced - CAD12 for a coffee in the lobby (though this seems standard for Chinese luxury hotels) and CAD25 for a kids meal for a 1 year old. Buffet dinner appears only to be held when enough guests are at the resort so it was unexpectedly cancelled for our last night which was disappointing. The level of English is quite poor with 1/10 service staff having a basic grasp - not a complaint, but for managing expectations. Housekeeping appear to come at strange hours to deliver things and when confronted with an English speaker leave and do not complete what they came to do.

Best Resort in China - best service in China and we travel really often. English level excellent. I had to gibt the hospital. Everything is as arrange by hotel. Thank you for this comfort!

Everything was brillant

We went there on the weekend and celebrated my birthday..we booked the volcanic room and it was very accessible to the swimming pool and even the buffet restaurant..and because it was my weekend birthday party for my family, they gave us cake and some side snacks..staffs are friendly and very accommodating..excellent food, excellent facilities and wonderful staff..

Overpriced, not good value for the money. Management and service of the hotel can't compare with international hotels (e.g. Shangri-la) in the same price range

The staff are friendly and they gave us a cake because it’s one of our kids birthday. Swimming pool is good and the dinner buffet.
