Best Western Plus Woodstock Inn & Suites

I stay at this facility quite frequently during my travels between the Maritimes and Ontario. This time, though, I proved that getting old has its pitfalls, as I accidentally booked the Best Western in Woodstock (Ontario) instead of the Best Western in Woodstock (New Brunswick), so needless to say there was no booking upon arrival. However, the friendly/efficient Reception staff appears to be used to these types of snafus, as she quickly checked the availabilities....and found me a room (mind you not the type I usually book, but - as the saying goes - beggars can't be choosey...LOL). She also suggested to call BW in Ontario to cancel that reservation, which - even though they were fully booked and had already turned away a few potential clients - the Manager there (Amy) cancelled the booking at no charge to me. So overall, another successful stay at a Best Western facility.

Absolutely nothing to report in the "bad box". (at least not this time).

Room was fine, comfortable night's sleep. the location was just what we needed near the town of Woodstock; the staff were welcoming and cordial.

We were disappointed with the breakfast facility; some coffee and drink machines were 'out of order'; proper eating utensils rather than plastic ones would be more acceptable. The breakfast menu was very limited; at a top-quality hotel one expects better. Perhaps the recent pandemic has affected this particular service.

A minor misunderstanding of how to turn on the spa tub in our room. I would have appreciated being told about the incidentals charge beforehand.

The room was what I expected based off of the pictures shown. The spa tub fit both of us comfortably, which is awesome as we are both tall. They still offered breakfast. The layout of the room. The staff was very friendly. The pillows were comfortable. Lots of storage space. Location near to decent restaurants and other shopping. We had control of temperature in our room. The pool was open with restrictions.

Breakfast was tasty and plenty provided. The room was exceptionlly clean and was very relaxing for the stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful during my time there.

The general access areas of the hotel could have been cleaner. The hallways could have used some work and the elevator was rather dirty.

All in all, I liked everything except the pillows on the bed. The other guests around my room were very considerate, so I was able to get a good night's sleep. This doesn't often happen in hotels. The breakfast was pretty good also.

The pillows are very stiff and way too thick. I woke up with a major neck cramp. It would be great if you had a pair of thinner pillows as well as the thick ones.

This hotel offered a hot breakfast, unfortunately I missed most of them because it was only served until 9am during the weekdays, and from so much travel, I often woke up after 9am. I did catch two on the weekend, which they extended the time to 10am. Otherwise everything was very nice. The room was modern and the bed was very comfortable. Unlimited complimentary coffee pods were available upon request.

comfortable beds and linens, very clean, spaciousness with kitchenette. ample parking.

some noise in the hallway due to baseball teams( children running and yelling in the hall), breakfast with very minimal choices. but the scrambled eggs were fantastic.

Bag breakfast was generous and tasty for a bag breakfast. Really liked booking a time to use the pool. We felt safe and could relax without others using the pool at the same time. There were 4 in our party. Pool area could have been cleaner. Suites were clean and well appointed to accommodate a 3 night stay. Covid protocols help us to feel safe. Limited staffing, but staff were very pleasant and helpful. Golf courses very near by.

Loved the two room suite. Was well appointed and very clean. Nice having the two bathrooms as well as my wife has a lot of stuff, lol.

There was no pen and paper in the room, nor any water. That would've been nice to have.
