Wingate by Wyndham Niagara Falls

No flexibility on early check-in with less than an hour to go. Unable to provide bill/statement of charges upon check out because we booked through booking.com. Still have no idea what we were charged for. Never received email confirm.

I booked 2- Queen rooms for me and my family & both rooms were a decent size, clean, and smelled fresh. They also have a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Beds were really comfy. The Location is within a brief walking distance to the falls, sights, and restaurants. Everything went smoothly.

Breakfast is not the typical breakfast you’d expect, however, it helps get you started in the morning. Muffins, a bananas, juice, water, and you help yourself to coffee. Not bad but I thought it would offer breakfast staples like eggs and toast. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel and we all had a great stay!

About 1/2 mile walk along Niagara river to the falls & State Farm. Bed was very comfortable, staff were all great

I know breakfast was free, but it was terrible. One meal selection, no fruit or yogurt, coffee was pathetically weak. We are very easy to please as far as food goes, but this was exceptionally bad. Additionally, Moe’s grill was attached to the hotel & recommended by staff: food selection looked like it had been sitting a while, something in my quesadilla tasted “old” and I could not eat more than a few bites. My husband’s bowl was tasteless. Very disappointed

Breakfast was very good. However, It was posted to open at 7 a.m that ran about 10 to 15 minutes late. Instead of being told we are running late this a.m from serving staff it was complete silence, people were outside waiting and wondering what is going on. I went to front desk and that person went and checked, shortly after they opened.

Room was nice. A little small but it worked. I wish it would have had a little table big enough for a family of 4. We did order out a few time but had to eat in bed cuz there wasnt anywhere for us to go and we didnt feel comfortable taking our meal to eat in front of other in the area they had for dining for breakfast.

Breakfast was ok. I think i expected a little more bit it was niice. The room it was set up in was small. There were a lot of ppl going in and out and some cutting the line. Made it harder for us when we have 2 small kids we were trying to get food for. They dont serve lunch or dinner

The room was a little dirty, just the leaving room area. The bathtub and bathroom was cleaned.

Walking distance to the Falls and restaurants was important and the hotel is convenient to both. The hotel was very clean and the staff, especially Rose, Theo and Shirrell, were very friendly and accommodating.

The lobby and room acoustics are lacking. We could hear other guests in their rooms. The breakfast selections could be improved - eggs, sausage and pancakes were offered daily; few cereal options and no bagels or danish - only white or wheat bread - and they could use another toaster.

Breakfast was good though opened a bit late on weekdays. Room was clean and comfortable, Good temperature control. Nice having Graayline kiosk in the lobby to book tours.

The decision to use LVT flooring was probably a mistake. Room was a bit noisy from guests walking in the room above ours and passing in the halls. Staff at check in was not very informative as to location of elevators, need to place parking tag on dash, times for breakfast etc. Room keys did not work on first try, had to have them recoded.

-Spacious parking Lot. - Big, tidy but old room. There is a Coffee maker with complementary capsules, microwave, fridge. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion in the bathroom. - Breakfast much better than i expected. Eggs, toasts, sausages, pancakes, coffee/tea/orange juice, yogurt. - Best location. 3 min away from the Falls. - Best for this money. Would stay again.

- Staff not really friendly - They charge you more without telling you ( damage deposit of $20). Now waiting for a refund. - Weak water pressure in the shower, no bathrobe or slippers.

Loved that the floors were not carpeted! Room was clean, decorated nicely and comfortable. I also loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the bathroom as well as a refrigerator and microwave!

It would be nice if breakfast varied from morning to morning. Always have eggs (please add packets of hot sauce for those who like a bit of spice with their eggs), but change up the meat and fruit options. Also adding bagels and cream cheese and peanut butter would be a great addition.
