Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport

- Friendly and helpful staff. - Good breakfast - Self serve Hot drinks always available - Good size room - Allowed us to check out late. - Kept hold of our luggage after check out.

- The bin in the room was annoying as it had a division but bin bag was only one so it wasn't properly set. - Nobody was able to help us bring our Suitcases to our rooms for us. Kids and I struggled to take the trolleys upstairs especially after a tiring flight. Pork sausages were kept too close to scrambled eggs..so someone who is not allowed to eat pork would worry about the spoons mixing of these 2 items. I feel there should be perhaps eggs and beans in one pair of dishes as these ho together nicely. The separate dish should have meat/pork items.

The essentials were good, clean place, good bed, functional room with place to work, internet, friendly staff. Half hourly shuttle to airport which takes 8 minutes or so. Not exactly cheap but OK price for Toronto standards.

It's nice 25 Celsius (77F) outside. Why would anyone want to cool the room down artificially to 17C?? The max the air conditioning would do was 22, pleasant enough but still unnecessary waste of energy (mosquito nets weren't there so better not to open the window, which of course would've made AC superfluous). Breakfast was OK but too much one-way material.

The proximity to the airport was ridiculously super close for the cost of the stay with free airport hotel shuttle between the airport and hotel. The breakfast was good. I had not realise until post-breakfast that there was lemon water in a cooler available at the lobby area for everyone to drink.

1) Lack of water bottles in the room. The lemon water cooler dispenser at the lobby was probably meant as a substitute for that. 2) The blackout curtains were permanently (immovable) stationed at the sides of the window with the car park and all nearby lights/flood lights being super bright which can severely disturb a good night's rest if one didn't have an eye mask. 3) At the lobby for breakfast, I wish there were more savoury healthy vegetable options but overall good enough.

very little noise being so close to the airport was a huge bonus for me as I live in a very rural area so noise will wake me up because it is not normal for me to hear at night. very close to the Food show I was attending less than 10 minute drive , I looked at the breakfast items and they all looked good ,but I was going to a food show ..so let someone else have it as I knew I would be trying massive amounts of stuff there. the shower was wonderful..very good pressure Pump Bottles of product on the walls in there much better than trying to open a little plastic envelope that you get other places

the parking is not the best for the size of the place and a little confusing for people like me ..have to get a ticket to open the gate to get in and then ask at the desk how do I do this stuff , but that is just because I live in such a small area

The room was beautiful. Breakfast was fine for being a self-serve type of arrangement. The hotel was very close to the airport.

The shuttle dropped us off at the end of the driveway rather than at the door. It wasn't a long walk but it was cold out. The shuttle was packed - people were standing. Should have sent them out more often as they were serving at least three hotels. Wifi didn't work in our room when we arrived (11 pm or so). They sent their tech guy up (we were on the top floor) and it wouldn't work for his device either. We gave up as it was late. It still didn't work in the morning and I didn't have time to try it in the breakfast room. I don't want to blame the bed, but neither my husband nor I slept well that night.

They have a pretty good selection of foods and drinks for the breakfast. I have food sensitivities/allergies so I had a banana. My husband tried a quite a bit and liked it. The hotel is only 5 mins from the airport which was great

Knowing more about the shuttle. We didn’t know what the bus looked like so it was hard to know which one was the correct one. Also, the shuttle stops at more than one hotel, which we also didn’t know. I also think the shuttle stopped at more locations than we were given because we seemed to stop a lot on way to the hotel but the driver was very friendly. We caught the shuttle at 3 am due to a missing luggage issue so we were tired and confused

It would help if the hotel puts a FAQ on their site about the minimum age limit to check into the hotel. I didn’t realise it was 21 years of age in Toronto (it is 20 years of age in Kingston, where my son is studying). In the UK it is 18. This would be helpful for overseas students or visitors. I had to send an authorisation email to the hotel to allow my 20 year old son to check in. Mandeep Singh was brilliant and actioned this request promptly.

The check in went really well. The bus shuttle was on time and efficient. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. The room was quiet and bathroom well appointed. The breakfast was one of the better ones we've had. Good choices....eggs, sausage, choice of cereals, breads, waffles, etc. Lot of good coffee. Seating area was comfortable and convenient (to the food and also to the front entrance for those of us waiting for the airport shuttle.

I checked out before sitting down and having breakfast and waiting for the shuttle. After a few minutes, my connection to the internet was cut. It was explained to me that it was because I had checked out. I suggest a delay time (15-30 minutes) before dropping the guests connection.

Staff were exceptional. They let us check in early and let us check out late, because of transportation arrivals and departures not coinciding with check in and check out times. We really needed to wash clothes and they had a washer and dryer available. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. I was very happy with this hotel.

About 35 minutes drive from Toronto, but no fault of the hotel.

The room was generous and the bed very comfortable. A buffet breakfast was included and featured a good assortment of hot and cold dishes. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent if a little pricey. The service in the restaurant was also excellent, The free use of a computer and printer in the business area was very much appreciated. The shuttle service to and from the airport was reliable and on time.

After I had booked my room, the hotel became unavailable for guests until April 2023. I was redirected to their sister hotel, the Doubletree by Hilton Airport, which honoured my reservation. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed the evening I checked in, perhaps because of the transfer of reservations from their sister hotel. Whatever the reason, they were curt and somewhat surly. The morning staff were more agreeable.
