staff member CHINTHAKA was very friendly and supportive.

Once the facility is booked, no matter what ever things come up later on, you are not allow to cancel it. I had booked the facility without knowing the distance where I wanted go. I tried to cancel it by calling to the manger of Skyland (a lady) she refused it saying to contact booking.com. So I thought I can cancel it by calling to the booking.com. Booking.com person contacted the facility again and was informed to me, manager of the motel is refusing to cancel the booking. Motel manager is kind of rude.

Breakfast was not an option at this location which was fine with us. There must have been some recent renovations done, and everything looks clean and modern. Bed was comfortable and sheets, mattress protector and even mattress were spotless. Mattress looked new. Evening staff was a kind gentleman, informed us of the early check out procedures and had a nice smile. The location is perfect, a quick drive from the Highway and close to shops for food, pharmacy, clothing etc. Even though it was on the main road, the room was quiet and we slept without interruptions.

I understand there is no facility to accomodate breakfast or meals, but a voucher for a discount at a local eatery would be a great addition.

The friendly staff! they were so accommodating. I had to reschedule my trip and was scared that I wouldn’t receive my money back for the booking. The staff were in contact with me every step of the way and we rescheduled for the week after. I really appreciated everything the staff did for me. The property was well maintained and renovated! comfy beds and soft sheets. No complaints! everything was amazing!

No complaints! A quick drive to downtown and it was right off the highway!

My room was clean and freshly decorated in tasteful colours and furnishings. Staff were friendly and helpful when I raised a question. Strong wifi in my room - was able to stream Netflix no problem. Overall Skyland is a very pleasant and comfortable place to lay your head overnight and far better value for money than other Huntsville hotels I have stayed at previously, which all seem to have hiked their rates this year. Will be back to Skyland Motel!

I am a light sleeper so needed silicone earplugs to block out adjacent road noise overnight, but I suspect all traditional motel constructions are exactly like this so it is no fault of the hotel's.

This has become our date night go to as we live a ways out of town. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. the rooms comfy and clean. Quick to respond any issues right down to how do I work the TV.

Not the motels fault but the neighbouring room a couple was arguing in their room and parking lot. not a common occurrence as we stay often but this particular evening it was frustrating as they kept coming and going with her hubby trying to get her to come inside.

Easy access to room. That was a plus coming and going, not having to travel so far through a building to get to your room like at other hotels. Staff were nice and friendly. Room was nice and clean, had a wonderful fresh scent upon walking in. Comfy beds, my back felt great. Slept better than being at home, it was awesome.

Steep driveway. Dont think it would be easy getting up the hill on both sides of entrance to property if it were icy.

The location is convenient, only a 7 min drive away from Arrowhead provincial park and 10 min drive from downtown Huntsville. The room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. The washroom appears to have been renovated and the shower water pressure is amazing. The appliances are working well, and the TV was pretty new and big (~40 inch). The room was also cozy, not too big but ideal for 2-3 adults. Definitely worth the money.

set up of facilities are not well thought off: the AC was behind shelving that makes it difficult to access (turn on/and off) the coffee maker was also placed in the shelving where there is not enough room to put the water in the reservoir and it cannot be adjusted as cord is plugged in behind the shelving unit making it impossible to operate the coffee maker at all.

Room was small but good for a quick sleep while visiting Algonquin park and vicinity. We can park our car right outside our door making it very convenient to access our car. The room contains the essentials like coffee maker, microwave, hair-dryer and fridge. Nice hot showers Quick free wifi

No closet, rails and hangers to hang clothes. No stools to put your luggage.

The motel is very cute. Loved the room! Very clean and comfortable beds. Handy fridge, microwave and hairdryer. Have booked at other hotels that did not supply. Staff was super friendly! Will definitely be going back!!

Check out was 10am so would nice to have it a bit later like most hotels which is usually 11 or 12 noon.
