Very clean and well furnished room, bathroom and shower, bath were great. Loved the additional kitchen area ..again kept v clean The top tips and ideas of where to eat and visit while there helped us find a great meal out ..and the local bar for a fun evening with the locals Didn’t have time to try out the sauna and weather wasn’t good for the hot tub ..but great quality touches to this place

Bed was just a bit too firm, but that is personal preference. Pillows were lovely! No hand soap in bathroom ..had v small individual shower wash which we had to use in place of hand soap

Traditional style house which was been completely renovated inside with immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Continental breakfast and access to cooking facilities is available in a communal kitchen. It’s in a good quiet location beside the river but only a few minutes walk from the town centre.

There are no staff on site and if you’re not IT literate you may not be comfortable with text and email to get key codes to gain entry to the property.

Honestly while New Glasgow May not be the most exciting stop in Nova Scotia - Riverside Inn is worth the pit stop. Absolute favorite Inn we stayed at - the room and bathroom were very lovely and modern, the bathrobes were a great addition. The backyard was absolutely stunning with a lovely hot tub and furniture and fire pit. The owner was incredibly lovely and kind. Parking was available too! Internet connection was great.

The inn was quiet, clean, and beautiful! The host even had the cot prepared with a nice foam and made up nicely for our child! There was even sports drink in the fridge at breakfast (continental), they they knew we were there for a hockey tournament! Love to go back if we can get a good price, like we did this winter!😊

We did smell cigarette smoke the odd time coming into the main hallway from someone smoking close to the building, but the rooms were fresh and clean!

Newly renovated and super clean and comfortable. Easy self checkin/out. Liked the self serve continental breakfast items and option to use communal kitchen, which was spotless. Location excellent with good dining options within walking distance. The Irish pub was great on a wintry night!

Room was small although it wasn’t an issue for us but some might prefer a larger room.

The location was steps to everything so very convenient. Nice continental breakfast with bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. Hot tub amd sauna available.

It was a bit hard to find a good temperature in the shower. Took a long time to get hot water, and then it was very hot. Took some playing with to get it right.

Very clean, modern, easy to check in & out, loved the back yard with the hottub seating area, flowers. We original tried booking in Antigonish because we were dropping off my daughter at university, but those places were all full. I'm so glad we happened upon this place.

They have thought of everything to make your stay feel like home away from home. Super friendly, accommodating, organised and efficient. Great location on the river with a fab restaurant and marina right outside the front door.

Hallways a bit noisy in the morning…

Updated and modern. Clean and comfortable. Good place to stay - and I recommend.

Breakfast was fair, and coffee undrinkable. No contact with people. Quite impersonal. Codes and keypads - while efficient - did not provide a greeting or a personal touch.

We had a super clean and tidy room with view on the river. Well sorted self-services kitchen available for breakfast and preparig lunch, snacks. Overall great value-for-money offer!

Nothing worth to be added on the negative side. For us it was all good.
