Riverside Suites

The apartment was phenomenal! Soooo many extra’s, every detail taken care of. The staff was wonderful, and so helpful for our seemingly endless questions or concerns, ie how to use the TV’s/remotes etc. The take out downstairs in the store, certainly took care of hunger pangs, as we didn’t bring food with us.

Being older, had trouble with the stairs to get up to the second floor, but even then people on the porch (? Staff) were very helpful.

Dont judge the building by the outside. When going from the outside of the building into the lobby and our room was a pleasant surprise. Hidden gem, updated rooms, clean and pleasant staff were all a great addition to our stay. Signage could be better to indicate Riverside Hotel. Otherwise 10 out of 10!

Signage for Riverside Hotel...just says convenience store. A bit difficult to identify that this is the hotel.

Just amazing and best value for the stay. I hope I could stay longer. The owner thinks all the details for travellers. The washer and dryer are big plus. The rooms are clean and spacious, like so roomy. The owner has very good taste for the deco, making a home staying sense.

It is on a second floor of a convenient store. It is a bit hard to move luggage in. But it is totally nitpicking.

This was like an apartment with ice cream down below! It was very clean and roomy. Two bedrooms (king and queen), with living room(couch and loveseat(2 person couch), tv and a padded bench), full kitchen with plenty of coffee k-cups, an island with 2 chairs, table with 4 chairs but the island chairs lower to table height, bathroom and high quality washer and dryer. Very friendly owners/staff. We felt like they truly cared about our visit.

It is upstairs but we did not find it terribly hard to navigate the steps. Grandma did ok with the steps too.

Large and well appointed suite. King size bed was comfortable however it did feel as if there may have been a plastic mattress cover under the sheets. Place was very clean and well equipped with dishes and good quality pots, knives and appliances. Comfortable seating and good quality large TV with variety of channels and viewing apps. Parking was conveniently located next to building and car was visible from the dining room window.

It was quite cold on arrival. Thermostat was set at 10 degrees and it took quite a while to warm up. The sofas were comfortable but very noticeably stained in several places. The main door lock can only be verified by checking it from the outside (the inside handle will always move even when locked so to know if the door is securely locked you need to reach around and check the handle from the outside.)

It was a very spacious suite....1000 sq. ft. 2 bedrooms and a very large living room. It had everything we needed for a two night stay. The gentleman who we dealt with when we arrived carried our suitcases up the stairs. Very helpful.

It needed some directions from the outside to inform that you're in the right place. We drove around the building before going into the cafe/store to ask. Stairs weren't a problem for us but could be for some people with a suitcase.

Very well suited, the kitchen was well stocked with basics such as coffee and condiments. We loved this suite, so even though we only needed one bedroom (very comfortable bed), it was nice with the extra room. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners.

I missed having a dishwasher. The lack of one was a bit of a surprise.

We have stayed here a previous time and decided we would return to this location. Lee is wonderful and quite helpful. Who loves space where you can cook a Thanksgiving dinner for your family and do laundry during vacation. Very clean place and will stay again when we return next year.

It isn’t clearly marked so took us a few minutes to find it. It is above a store which was fine but not what we expected. The store owners own the apartment so their son was working during our arrival and explained the location to us. He was quite friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and quite modern. It also was air conditioned which was nice as it was a hot muggy day. Location is totally fine- just a little difficult to find if you aren’t expecting an apartment above a store

The place is huge. Excellent attention to detail in the decor. It is a recent remodel.

The curb appeal sucks. It's upstairs from a convenience store. If you can get past that and get inside, you will be very pleased.
