The Listel Hotel Vancouver

Big rooms, best location we could ask, easy check in and check out. The morning coffee was lovely. I liked the bed and mattress (I had good sleep for 6 nights). I didn’t use the bikes but other guests seem to like them a lot. Lots of places to visit around or just going for a walk by the sea. Stanley park is 15 minutes away.

The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I expect from 4 star hotel (hairs in the bathroom when I checked in). The hotel would benefit from renovation (carpets, curtains) are quite old . Nothing mentioned in the booking but somehow I expected buffet breakfast, it was only the restaurant breakfast (there are lots of cafes around with same or better breakfast available).

The staffs at check-in was very helpful and friendly. Made me felt very welcomed. Also the cleaning staffs are very attentive and they have done a really good job keeping the place very clean. The hotel is like an art gallery, I love the displays. The location of the hotel is just amazing, everything is so convenient especially so many great restaurants and shops nearby! The room is spacious and I really like the fact the bathroom vanity is outside the shower area, so you can still use to wash things if someone's taking a shower. Lastly, you can find cheaper overnight parking right across the street for half the price of what the hotel charges. So it's no problem.

The shower/toilet area is very very tight considering how the door swings in. Just imagine your feet will block the door from a full swing if you sit on the toilet; and your towel mat on the floor will also intervene with the bathroom door. So after you shower, it's a challenge to get out. I think the door should be a sliding door or that it swings the other way instead. The parking is kind of expensive for $45 a night. Literally right across the street there is a much cheaper alternative.

The location was fantastic! we liked the room, the art, the easily accessible filtered water. it was quiet and clean, and we liked having recycling and compost bins available.

The a/c made a loud “thunk” every time it turned on. There was no chain or peephole cover on the door. We wished there was a microwave. The parking was very expensive.

location was perfect for a first times in Vancouver, I would totally recommend to stay there

Spacious room, with a fridge and a kettle, which was useful for Brits who drink tea & not coffee. They also provided a carafe in the room for sparkling & still water dispensers on each floor which was very useful, along with ice machines. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly from check-in to check-out all the way to the room services. The bed was very comfortable, the room was cleaned daily without being requested, as in a lot of hotels these days. Location was brilliant for the Ocean Terminal and downtown, both an easy walk away for sightseeing, Stanley Park and English Beach are also within walking distance with annual Firework display at English Beach in the evening, crowded.

The hotel room cost was high but comparable to other similar hotels with sales tax in Vancouver at 20%+ Meals in and out of the hotels are also expensive and the hotel restaurant menu was a little pretentious and limited.

The location was great to get everywhere. Vancouver is fairly compact so it was easy to walk to Canada Bay, Stanley Park and Downtown. It has its own restaurant which we only had breakfast in but was excellent. They also provide free filtered water and a cafetière of free coffee to your room in the morning if you wish. There are so many places to eat either within walking distance or a short bus or taxi ride. The rooms were clean and spacious with a large shower. We were on the 4th floor to the back of the property so no nice views but it was quiet as Robson street is a busy street.

I would have liked somewhere to sit and read my book or relax but we just went to the room.

Very comfy room, excellent bathroom/shower, excellent coffee and tea complimentary room service, good location downtown on Robson Street close to many restaurants, not far from Stanley Park and within walking distance of other downtown attractions such as Canada Place. It is about a 25 minute walk to a ferry stop. The cute little ferry goes to Granville Island and other attractions for a nominal charge.

Parking arrangements. Space for only three vehicles at the entrance. Valet parking is inconvenient. Sometimes had to wait a while if several guests were accessing their cars at the same time. The room was extremely expensive, as is true for all Vancouver hotels. But I would have still expected a larger room for the price.

Check in and Check out was excellent, the staff were very friendly, professional and helpful with information. The fitness center was excellent, well equipped and laid out, kept clean and tidy with good air ciculation

It is difficult to stop or park at the hotel for drop off or pick up and friends visiting to park their cars. It is on a very busy street with lots of traffic and stop/start traffic and parking restrictions etc. The Forage Restaurant at the hotel was OK but trended toward a limited fancy cuisine menu, even at breakfast rather than more regular American style menu. There was a cafe nearby that provided excellent breakfast fare.

great location on Robson. decent sized clean rooms. small yet functional fitness center with a shower and changing room. despite being in a major street did not hear street noise. prompt and efficient housekeeping. Front desk concierge and room service staff went above and beyond and treated us like family. wonderful service. we had a late flight and they accommodated by holding luggage and letting us freshen up before airport. free wine hour everyday is nice if you can make it.

Tiny bathroom. only some floors include complimentary morning coffee and room assignment is random. Room was clean but needs some updating. not too many amenities included

Reception staff was very helpful in explaining all the extras. Also mentioned right away a late check-out was possible. The hotel offers free electric bikes for 3 hours. Also, free distilled water and sparkling water on tap was available on our floor. The complimentary coffee and tea delivered to your room in the morning was a very nice extra. The room was very spacious, great shower. The location is really good, as you are right on Robson street, and only a few blocks downhill from the waterfront. The hotel does not have a breakfast room but does offer in room breakfast service. We were able to stay in the room until 2pm on check-out which was great.
