Prestige Inn Golden

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious. I was very surprised to see a TV in the bathroom. We had the hot tub to ourselves, which was nice.

The hotel still has a lingering odor of stale cigarettes, especially in the hallways and stairs.

The location was convenient for travelling along Hwy 1. We were somewhat underwhelmed at first because the room was a typical hotel room. However, it was clean and quiet. We were glad our room faced the back, not the highway side. The pool and hot tub were great and we think they should always be made available on a reservation basis - even after COVID restrictions are totally lifted. Breakfast at Ricky's the next morning was good.

The room was clean, but the hall carpets could have used a bit more cleaning.

Convenient location with plenty of parking. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were busy and on the smaller side, but enjoyable.

Only complaint is that they advertised room service, but when we called the restaurant they only offered takeout. A minor inconvenience, but updated room info sheets would have been appreciated

Great location just off Highway 1. Restaurant on site handy, but very slow service

Only 2 staff working in restaurant for any meal....many people left without being seated after waiting over 20 min. We personally had to wait 45 mins from arrival to being served, in spite of many empty tables. Need more floor staff!

The staff was phenomenal - we originally booked into the Days Inn and it was an absolutely filthy nightmare so needed to change hotels on the fly - Lori at the front desk was an angel, that lady deserves a raise, she truly “gets” it ! The customer service she provided was exceptional (in fact, all the staff we interacted with were very accommodating and friendly)and she made our stay fantastic after a very rocky start. She really went over and above so, Thank you Prestige Inn for a lovely, comfortable, clean hotel with just amazing staff, we would definitely stay here again when in Golden

The pet fee seemed a little steep at $30 per night (especially with no housekeeping service during covid) but honestly for the service received we would stay there again.

There was a pungent odour on the main floor (which is where my room was). Smelled like cigarettes mixed with chlorine from the pool. The bathtub had mold around the edges and it didn’t feel particularly clean because of it.

Very good accomodation when you stay 1 or 2 nights in Golden. Facilities seem a little old (such as elevator), but everything worked fine, room was spacious, clean and warm. Parking around the building and restaurant/grill in the building.

The beds and sheets are sooo comfortable and fluffy! We enjoyed our quick stay in Golden. I didn't use the exercise room or pool but my partner did and he loved it. We appreciate that the hotel is pet-friendly!

Would be nice if they provided water bottles in the mini-fridge (even if it was extra cost to drink them).

Would have been nice to have a place to eat later in the evening there was a screaming child when we first got too our room carried on for quite awhile thankfully they stopped before we had too change rooms

The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant food was very good and the waitress was amazing. They were short staffed and she looked after the entire restaurant by herself.
