Home2 Suites by Hilton Fort St. John

We loved the bright colours, the hotel and room looked clean and new. The breakfast was tasty and we had a lot of options. Staff was friendly and competent, the front desk called the room after we checked in to make sure everything was fine with the room, we felt very looked after. We were only staying overnight, but I sometimes stay in Fort St John for business and would consider the Home2 Suites for longer stays, the kitchenette would be very handy.

I was able to connect to wifi with my laptop and my kid's iPad, but not with my wife's work computer, which was a MacBook. Probably just an issue reaching the portal page, as it's a work laptop it could have been locked down by corporate settings on her end. I didn't reach out to front desk or tech support though.

We loved that it was bright and modern and very clean. The staff were exceptional and the laundry/gym facilities came in handy even tho our trip was a short one.

The continental breakfast and use of the snack bar were not explained so we did not access either one. maybe a brochure in each room would be helpful. I was travelling with my family of 6 so it would have been helpful. I suffer social anxiety so was not comfortable asking.

Breakfast was sketchy, we were there for 4 days. The hot breakfast was cold each day. There was cereal and toast, which was fine, but the eggs and sausage were cold to lukewarm. We gave it a try twice then ate out the rest of our trip.

Excellent layout. Sustainable energy and environmental processes are taken into consideration at all levels.

Older staff mostly ignores you and talkscto each other. When you need something you have to interrupt them to get their attention. The younger staff is very helpful and attentive.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was huge! Loved the free coffee in the lobby. The hotel and room are nicely decorated. Liked the book exchange in the lobby. Beautiful patio/sitting area in the front of the hotel. We used the pool as well, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very nice! So many options, have never seen a free breakfast with that many hot options.

If I was a long term stay it would have everything I'd ever want. They really thought of everything you could need for a working out of town type stay. The breakfast was insanely stocked, so many options.

I don't think the cleanliness was up to pandemic standards, as there were food smudges on the kitchen tap. It was a bit much of a room for just one night. Blankets were folded weird, I never like to sleep with the top blanket next to my face because you never know if a hotel washes the top one, so I had to peel the bed apart and fold the sheet over it.

Staff were super friendly. Room and air flow was great. Room was accessible and easy to access.

Only one waffle maker during breakfast hours. At times there was a long wait especially for families with young children.

I liked the clean room, facilities and breakfast. I also liked the location of your Hotel because it was close to good food and gas station. I like the designated smoking area outside.

I didn't like the noise from kids outside their room door. Also the main room door slams too hard it makes a lot of noise.

Breakfast was great,staff terrific and so helpful and room was beautiful ,huge !great kitchen ,comfy bed and bedding and great bathroom and tub, wonderful whirlpool spa and salt water pool! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

It is a little ways for a walk to town but they do have a shuttle which is Awesome

Friendly staff. Willing to go to help out patrons with special needs. Getting us a crib for the child to sleep in.
