Western Budget Motel Ponoka

The rooms are spacious and nostalgic. I love the chain of Motels, always have had great experiences. They are quite, the beds are firm and I always bring my own pillow. Have always been clean and everything worked. I don't expect a 5 star breakfast, but then again I have a kitchen so I bring my own eggs :) The called me to make sure I was still coming as I left town late and where waiting for me when I got there.

There is not anything I don't like that I can't bring or fix for myself.

Really liked that they provided extra cloths for things like cleaning make-up and boots. That was a surprise bonus. Also, they were able to accommodate my later check-in. Really nice to have a real kitchen, though I wish it had a microwave.

They seemed pretty concerned about my late (9pm) check in so that was a bit stressful. Also, i think their cleaning staff actually made my floor dirtier? I didn't get charged for it, so that's nice.

The bed was so comfortable. The room was so spacious with a kitchenette and fireplace. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay at a Western budget again. It exceeded my expectations.

The only thing I didn’t like was a refundable damage deposit of $150 was taken at check in, even though I paid with a credit card, but that did not affect my enjoyable stay in the room. It was just surprising, but I guess that is because of the great value for such a nice place to stay. After checkout the amount is refunded by credit card.

The room was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. Having a well priced hotel room with a kitchen, a seating area and a fireplace is a big bonus! The woman, Rebecca I think, who helped us both check in and out was friendly and helpful.

The curtains could have blocked out a bit more light.

Location was perfect! Very close to the rodeo grounds. Was able to check in before 3 which was very nice. Was put in a room close to the exit which was nice with my geriatric pet. No breakfast was a down fall but coffee was in the room and a fast food restaurant steps away. Beds were rather hard but it was fine for one night.

I love the size of the room and the fact that there was a kitchenette. A little bit of home away from home.

. It has been almost 2 years of this pandemic. It is time for you to do your continental breakfast again. Every motel we have stayed at during this trying time offer a breakfast.

I was blown away by the room! the entire building was clean, updated, comfortable….but my room was way better than I expected. spacious, clean, cozy. I booked the cheapest most simple room for a quick nights stay for work and I walked in to a beautiful lobby, met by stellar staff and found myself in a large room with a fireplace and full kitchen. loved it!

I loved how clean it was, plus the front staff were so nice would totally stay here again! Plus I highly recommend if you can get the jacuzzi room worth the $40 extra!

The bed wasn’t the comfiest but other then that really no complaints!

The rooms are very spacious and clean. It was great having a kitchenette.

The motel has both a pool and a lovely breakfast room but is not available to use. We stayed at other Budget Motels, and a breakfast was offered even during Covid.

The property was beautiful very clean rooms and the staff went over and above to help in anyway they could very friendly it was a pleasure to stay there
