Ramada by Wyndham Olds

There was always enough for the amount of people that were coming for breakfast, the selection was good. You could choose a hot or cold breakfast and fruit and yogurt were always available. The staff are very attentive, they fixed an issue with my sink that I did not know was an issue, and when I did need something fixed it was attended to immediately. I will continue to stay at the Ramada whenever I am attending courses at the Olds College.

We travelled for a X-country skiing / snowshoeing experience in Sundre and Bearberry but Olds was the closest place with accommodations. We spent three nights there. Didn't really go anywhere in Olds because it was very cold; but the restaurants in the city were superb. There were 4 of us (2 adult sons) so we had a king room and a two queen room. It was very comfy and the people in the hotel were really nice, very polite and helpful with everything. And yes, the forests and the snow in Sundre and Bearberry were fantastic! No one around, excellent groomed trails, serene foothills scenery and the temperature 7-8 C warmer than elsewhere in Alberta on those days, with no wind.

The breakfast facility was closed because of COVID but the hotel personnel offered us a bagged breakfast. We took it once; preferred to eat in restaurants the other 2 times, but that's typical.

There were great selection for breakfast, timing to get hot eggs , potatoes was touch n go , they need a hotter serving pan. The bedroom was spacious and well insulated , so no extra noises heard. Wish we had time to use the pool and hot tub area , it looked really inviting , will take a grandchild next visit as there was a slide waiting to be used. , great weekend and overall a great place to stay.

Great coffee in the breakfast area, clean and comfy beds. Great body products in the bathroom, quiet and pet friendly.

The in room coffee maker was a little dirty looking and the shower head could use a CLR treatment. Also, the towel hook on the back of the door wasn’t secure and fell off when we put a towel on.

our stay was on the long weekend and there was a baseball tournament going on in Olds. the staff was very accommodating and were very busy that weekend and i felt they did an excellent job.

the breakfast was ok but the selection of breads and sweet rolls could have been better. Also the fresh fruit could have had some seasonal fruit there

The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our stay in the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance of several shops, which is an added bonus.

There is a big pool, and lots of people were there. However, some people who entered the pool did not take a shower beforehand. Maybe put up larger signage in the door?

The evening make staff member the counter was a tad grumpy and rude towards my kids. He was the only staff member who wasn’t awesome.

The room was awesome, 2 queen beds and they were so comfy! The pillows were nice and soft, we had a mini fridge and a good size TV in our bedroom which was perfect! At the end of the day, after playing for hours in the pool with the awesome slide, we were able to watch Star Wars and relax.

No breakfast included like what was stated on the booking site when we booked, and it was another main reason we booked there, as we loved having the ability to have a breakfast (free) that was right on the main floor.

Staff was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The pool and hot tub immaculate,very well lit etc. The breakfast was adequate given the times. We didn’t have time to use the weight room but it was also immaculate and the equipment appeared to be in terrific, like new, shape. Beds were very comfortable and the two door entrance to the room really contributed to the ease of getting in and out.

great location, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bed! I was also impressed by the deep soaker tub and the comfortable couch in the king suite

there were no easily accessible outlets near the bed and the parking lot was quite icy
