Hotel Bethel - Fort MacLeod, AB

Nice location of an old-style motel. You look for a good value night - stay here. Staff was very helpful. She gave us the WiFi password of the reception router which seemed to be the only router with an active internet connecion. When we connected the router in the room we saw that it was not getting internet access from the provider. Obviously we were lucky to get one of the renovated rooms with working TV and good kitchen utensils.

You should remove the routers from the room when they have no active connection to the internet. Customers lose time trying to fix a problem which is out of their reach (probably unpaid connection fees). The front desk router could connect to the internet but had some "blackouts" from time to time which is not comfortable when you have important tasks to work online.

The guy running the hotel was super friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed in our room. We went up for a movie shoot and stayed 4 nights. Would definitely stay there again. For a 2 star hotel it was just the perfect place to go to catch some much needed zzzz’s.

It was a bit older, so the plug ins were a little loose when plugging something in, we noticed the ac was leaking on to the electronics the last night. Only because we had it turned up and the condensation gathered at the bottom, so we just wiped up the water from underneath and turned it off for the evening while we were on set.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Really appreciate the larger sized fridge and extra coffee items. Beds were super comfy. No excess noise or outside disturbances.

The usual wear and tear on older equipment. Really just cosmetic. However, everything worked as it should.

Loved the location! Straight down a couple blocks is the charming downtown of Fort MacLeod. Staff at the Motel were pleasant and property was maintained.

Both the window and shower curtains had minor stains. First walk through of the room, I noticed the floor was clean except under the bed. I did not have to bend down to see. Nothing a swifter couldn't take care of.

Nice and clean. It's an old motel, and looks it from the outside, but the room was apparently recently renovated and modern. Quite nice and fresh.

Couldn't find any coffee. The air conditioner made a lot of noise and blew a lot of air but it didn't seem very cold.

Easy check in. Good location. Quiet all night. Beds were comfortable.

No vent fan in bathroom. You have to leave a $100 deposit for damages. The staff visually inspects the room before you leave for any damage- was odd.

The motel was clean, easy to find, and the owner was friendly. we stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the walks along the river, museum and musical ride.Great litte motel for the price.

all good as a rest stop on a road trip.

Very comfy beds. Surprisingly big tv. The walkway acted as a great sound barrier. Owners very attentive.

A bit loud at times on a tournament weekend in town but not too bad.

Hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The room is very clean. Great job! Excellent location.

Fresh renos, clean and comfortable.

Maybe add a pair of chairs by the room entrances for morning coffee!
