Hotel Rostov

Staff was friendly and helpful and our room was big, because we chose an apartment. The location is perfect, because it's in the city center. We had air conditioning in our room and it was on before our stay, so we were welcomed in a cold room, which was nice, because it was really hot day. We were able to park our car in the private parking. Our room was perfectly cleaned and bedsheets smelled nice.

Hotel is really old, the elevators are shaking and small, the common spaces look really old and it's not vintage. The hotel private parking is really small and you might not be able to park, you cannot book place in advance.

The hotel is suited at the centre of the city; they upgraded us to a small apartment instead of double room. The furniture is old but still cosy. They allow us a late check out as our meeting was in the afternoon. It was clean and quiet. Really good value for money.

The elevators are really small - not more than 2 people could use them. When we arrive, the receptionist told me I could leave the car until 12:00 at the other day on the parking in front of the hotel and then I should pay; at the other day, the other receptionist told me they have a parking place behind the hotel where I could leave the car for the whole day. The breakfast was just a package with a piece of Bulgarian banitsa, ayran, an apple and croissant. No coffee or tea included. They said it's always like that in weekdays.

Quite interesting place - renovated hotel from the communist era. Rooms are on the small side but clean and have everything you need. Breakfast was quite good. Staff was helpful. Ask for a room on a higher floor - the view of the city and surroundings is very nice. Good value for the money and perfect for a night or two - for visiting the city.

have stayed here several times and would not hesitate to do so again. staff always welcoming and helpful. clean, comfortable rooms, especially the suites, and location perfect for bars and restaurants. supermarket just one minute walk from hotel.

no kettle. would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities.

having read some reviews of the hotel in advance I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. excellent location in the centre, modernised room was clean spacious and comfortable. the cavernous “socialist style” dining room was fine for breakfast which was pretty good and continually replenished. would I stay here again ? …. yes

The reception lady was extremely kind and polite. Breakfast was good with variety. Parking spot was available and we were able to check in earlier. The room was clean.

Air conditioning was not working in the room. The bed was not very comfortable.

Food, view, staff. Old style hotel of 70s 80s when everything were national.

My wife were complaining about bed sheets that they haven't been changed.

friendly and professional staff, stunning view from my window, fresh breakfast. I had a situation unlocking the door of my room to go out in the morning, after I called the receptionist she send someone and the problem was solved immediately ! :)

There was a bulky chair in my room and some hairs in my bed .

The view over the city was amazing. In the City Centre which made everything easy to reach in walking distance.

One of the elevators was quite noisy. We could hear it every time someone was using it. It is not something that would keep you from sleeping tough.
