Hotel Luzeiros São Luis

The location: very safe to walk around, all taxi drivers knew well the address (and there is always a taxi stationed nearby, we travelled most times with Mr Auri, very attentive and careful driver), right at the seafront (but quite difficult to reach the beach), walking distance to excellent restaurants, delicatessen, pharmacy, coconut stand... The breakfast: great variaty and quality. The regional food was amazing. Just the breakfast make your stay worthy The swimming pool: we regretted not using it more. Good for chilling and for a few laps The staff: although very busy, always kind and efficient. Flávio Augusto upgraded us to a seaview room that was a really nice treat after travelling for 17h. The toiletries: lovely scents, great quality And they our suitcases when we went to Lençóis for a week

The bathroom structure didn't allow a good drainage and ventilation

I liked the location, wonderful plentiful impeccable breakfast with many variations comfortable spacious restaurant. The apartments in the standard of comfort, comfortable spacious bed. Wonderful view! As the hotel is refined, I suggest a kettle with free coffee and tea. Very helpful messengers.

Regarding the delay at check-in, there was a disagreement with what was agreed by the booking and duplicate payment without it being reversed in automatic, it seems unwilling to do that, since it is registered in the system. The lack of language at the time of service.

Almost everything! The shower was exceptional! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

There were some small problems: The bathroom fan wasn’t working My bed was too firm but that’s a choice. Wifi didn’t work well by the swimming pool. We had to ask twice for towels because the cleaning staff forgot to leave them.

Nice hotel. Great breakfast. Service was good but could be a bit more attentious. Room was large and confortable. I was there during Brazilian Valentines day. They hired live music to play in the lobby and the girl was a great singer.

No toiletries in the bathroom. We asked twice but there was something going on with the staff. You can't swim in the beach which is unfortunate but not really the hotel's fault.

The hotel is located pretty much on the beach (although to get to it you do have to clamber down an unofficial path) but worth it as the beach is lovely. The rooms are a good size and we had a spacious balcony. Breakfast was plentiful. The pool area is really nice too. It”s about a 10 minute taxi ride to the historic centre - which is well worth a visit.

Nothing significant

The rooms were outstanding and very clean thanks to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was great and diverse with great breakfast staff. A special thanks goes out to Eduardo for going the extra mile.

I didn't like that they filled the refrigerator with items you didn't want and you could use the refrigerator for your own cheaper snack items. And constantly checking to see if you consumed them

Nice rooms, coming from a couple of days in Lencois Maranhenses it was great to arrive to a comfortable room and rest. Breakfast is great, lots of options and everything is super tasty. The swimming pool is also really nice and the fact that it's right in front of the sea makes it even better.

When we arrived there was a queue in the reception to do the check in/checkout. It's high season and I know there's a lot of tourism but there should be more people working in the reception.

The service was excellent by everyone. The view from my room was just wonderful over the ocean, even in the 12th floor the road of the ocean at night was heard. The pressure of the shower was perfect and the WiFi was powerful enough to have business meetings in my room. The decor throughout the hotel was stylish and there were even some books to read in English. The care and attention provided by Diane and her team was first class. Even though my Portuguese has a blend of Spanish and Arabic woven into it due to speaking 5 languages, the team and I had fun exploring culture and what it was exactly that I needed. Being gluten free and vegan, without sugar or processed food, the catering team went out of their way to provide me with excellent food. The pool was perfect for Lane swimming and there were more than enough places to sit and lounge by the pool. This really is a beautiful hotel, as are the people who serve you. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

There was nothing I didn't like, except the sauna as it was a steam room without much steam, and I believe it is the next thing which will be updated.

Views from sea front bedrooms are fantastic. Being able to hear the ocean sounds is always a great experience. And the beach nearest to the hotel is not crowded at all. The hotel pool facilities are large enough and even with a big crowd, it's possible to stay far from other people. Location is good, near good restaurants, bars and pharmacy.

Breakfast is too crowded at all times, and as it's a closed space, it's not ideal due to covid times. The hotel would really benefit from a direct access to the beach (there is one nearby, but you have to go through a ghost-like street). For a four star hotel, pool services could be more receptive, and also, there is no visible shower near the pool.
