Eurostars Montgomery

Good-sized room with a view over Square Montgomery. Excellent soundproofing. This is a very comfortable hotel from all points of view and in a perfect location for our needs in Brussels. The reserved parking was indispensable in this area and well worth the charge. The hotel staff members were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was a daily pleasure.

Parts of the hotel are undergoing a significant upgrade and this meant that on occasions we had to wait longer than is normal for the elevator to arrive, since the teams working on the improvements had to use it to access all floors. This is in no way a criticism of the hotel (or indeed the workers, who did their utmost to be discreet!) and we look forward to seeing the results on a future visit.

All the staff were professional and very helpful, especially the front desk clerk Alba. She helped with laundry requests, city information, and brought ice and drinks to our room. The room was very nice, clean, and a good size. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. We were glad to have extra outlets by each side of the bed and a safe in the room. The lounge was comfortable and cozy too.

The only issue was in the bathroom. The tub was very high to step into and out of, and there were no grab bars which would have been welcome.

The staff was phenomenal! They went above and beyond each day to ensure comfortable accommodation. There were some limited services during my time there due to the national holiday and festival weekend, however, they still tried their best to be able to accommodate our needs. They allowed us to have an early check in. When we needed assistance with heating food, they did not fret and helped and put it on a separate plate for you. They have a spa and gym which was great and they allowed me to get ready there while waiting on the room. Even though the city center was 15 min away, the tram and train is right there so it was certainly convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The elevator. There is only 1 and if you're on the top floor and people are trying to use it at the same time, it will go up and you see it's full before it goes back down. A lot of times we had to the stairs and we were on the 7th floor.

The room was very spacious and cosy. The decoration was very nice and classy. The bed was also very comfortable. Even if we were in front of a huge roundabout, the soundproof was excellent. We slept like babies! Also it was nice to have a parking in the basement.

- When we arrived, we found the parking door closed. So we quickly asked the receptionist to open it. He said yes but then we waited and nothing happened. Turns out he forgot... It was not very professional and quite stressful for us as we were blocking the street. - The parking was quite small and not convenient for big cars. - The bathroom was quite outdated and things were not working very well. I think a bit of renovation will be great! - There was only one elevator and it was very busy (by guests but also staff) so we were always waiting for too long.

The mattress of the beds were a bit hard Also it smelled like cigarettes in the bathroom

I was in the second floor and window of my room was lucked (There were a note on it saying it always needs to stay close for security). It is ok if that is the rule and I can respect it but I personally think, I also as a visitor has the right to know this in advance. I really did not like the fact that the entire time, I could not open the window to get some fresh air(It was not the best feeling for me inside the room with a locked window all the time). but I also did not ask for a room change after my check in as I did not want to cause more work for anyone but I personally think this is the only thing that needs to be checked with the guest before check in .

The location is good, although it is not in the city center. There's Metro nearby which only need 10 mins to the city center.

The room was beautifully clean, the location was pretty good and the staff were lovely! The bed was really comfy and the room was massive.

Just one small thing to bear in mind for others, which is that a paper bag from the room seemed to have been thrown away by the cleaners. Although it contained some rubbish, it also contained quite a lot of new toiletries, so just giving a thorough check before throwing away next time would be good. That being said, we loved the stay and the room!

Nice, very spacious room with large terrace and great city views. The small kitchen facilities were a bonus. The staff were polite, attentive and very friendly. Very well located for access to public transport (metro, trams and buses), while only a short walk to Merode shopping area and beautiful Cinquantenaire Park.

The lift wasn't working on our arrival, so we had to use the stairs to access our 8th floor room (it was fixed the next afternoon). Lights in room malfunctioned which meant they couldn't be turned off on two nights running. We were compensated for the inconvenience by being given free mini bar. The hotel facilities and decor would benefit from updating.

Very nice hotel, nice decorated, very friendly and professional staff, very close to metro station. Comfortable bed and pillows, quick wifi connection, spacious bathroom with antislippery bathtube,

It was not possible to open the windows. I understand it was for security reasons but it was not so pleasant. The breakfast was just OK for 5 stars. IT could be better. Maybe to foresee a brush for the toilet. It will be better for the people who stay there and for the cleaning ladies as well.
