Hotel Rathauspark Wien, a member of Radisson Individuals

Beautiful building in a lovely neighbourhood. The best thing was the location - very close to public transport and many sights. We had a good-sized family room that was very clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good, with friendly and helpful staff available.

The room was extremely warm and the air-conditioning was not available at this time of year. We asked the reception about this after the first night and they said when it under 20 degrees, the air conditioning is deactivated. It was over 20 degrees for first two days of our visit to the city. With the window open all night, it was okay in terms of temperature, but there was considerable noise from approximately 6am from a huge building site nearby (loud crashes etc) so this disturbed our sleep. We asked reception again if there was anything they could do and they said they would look into it, but nothing happened. This really affected how restful our visit was.

Excellent spacious, suite with lovely corner window views.. Very modern but sympathetic to the character interior architecture. Individual style of the breakfast room and small lounge/bar on the ground floor. Staff more than willing to source bespoke breads and other tasty breakfast items. Really helpful advice on getting around Vienna, including transport tickets and passes available at cost price from reception. Short walk to Schottentor for trams, busses and underground.

There could have been a little more choice of hot solid food for breakfast ( beyond eggs, one kind of wurst and vegetable mix.). A bigger selection would have been appropriate for the price of the room. The room tea/coffee maker had no milk supplied, necessitating a trip to the local store round the corner. Some complimentary drinks would have been appropriate, again given the room prices.

Once we figured out our location and how to get to central Vienna, it was not bad, about 15-19 minute walk. The hotel is close to bus stops and a couple restaurants. We had to take a taxi/Uber a few times to get to destination because it wasn’t as easy to navigate at first… the hotel was super friendly, the breakfast was amazing! Loved that they had a coffee machine that makes espresso and cappuccinos and uses lactose free milk - that was a first! They had several types of cereals, all kinds of breads and croissants, cheeses, meats, spreads, jams, fruits, etc … lots of choices for picky eaters! The staff was very helpful with directions, maps, any assistance!

When I needed to iron my clothes, they meet you at a tiny room on one of the floors with an ironing board and iron made for one person, it doesn't come standard in your hotel room as you might typically expect in the US. There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel, want noisy but wasn’t a site to see when you walked out. Some of the outlets are disguised under a cover so needed to search a little extra for them.

A very good breakfast. Everyhing you want... very good little breads, lot of cheese, ham and fruits. good coffee...even fish and warm dishes. The location is amazing, 100 m from the Rathaus, and in the period we were there it was the Film Festival..... some great nights, with artistic culture and gastronomic culture! Something for everybody! Amazing stay... We had a very welcome welcome drink!! A nice surprise!

We were guest in the hotel for the 4 or 5th time.... we had a room at a high floor, but at the wrong part, we expected that we would have a room with front side view. Maybe is not a better room but we ware left with the impression that the room on he other part is with better view. In rest, everuthing was great, as usual!

Excellent location perfect for the Christmas markets and sights. The staff were very helpful and our room was spacious. Good breakfast each morning with generous time allocation to attend from 07:30 - 11:00 meaning we could have an early start to our day or a more leisurely one to suit our plans.

Nothing although we only saw one lift and as the hotel was fully booked, and we were on the 6th floor, we were surprised not to have to wait around more for the lift. We certainly felt lucky being able to avoid queuing.

The elegant & classy hotel is brilliantly positioned - close to the Schottentor traffic node, but far enough from the busy areas, so it as perfectly quiet at night. Staff went the extra mile. Management deserves a huge bonus for the fact that you could just buy a cup of coffee from reception instead of paying for a whole breakfast - kudos for this idea.

We got rooms directly under the roof, but temperature was OK. One of the rooms was somewhat crowded with furniture. There was a construction site near the hotel (a new subway line is being built), but that is hardly thje hotel´s fault.

Very good location and accessible to everywhere by public transportation and even walking. Staff were great and helpful. We had a problem with our AC after we arrived and they changed our room to a larger and updated one next door.

Rooms are quite small compared to our hotels in Prague and Budapest and more expensive too. The breakfast is very expensive and therefore we did not get hotel breakfast.

Very well located and a great size room. Beds were comfortable and a great space for 2 people. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I also like how some tea and coffee was provided in the room. I managed to explore most of Vienna and the location of the hotel to all the major sights was amazing. I also found it easy to get to the metro to get to the airport.

There is no room service option in the evening. Overall, there weren’t many flaws.

The staff was friendly, the location was very central, the breakfast is a very good value. The hotel also kept our bags for a few hours after checkout for free. The room was clean and the beds firm/comfortable

The walls are a bit thin and the rooms a bit dated and small (but we were not staying in Vienna to stay in our hotel room). The staff can also provide recommendations on inexpensive places to park nearby.

Great central location from where we were easily able to reach many of the city's Christmas markets, museums, cafes and restaurants. Despite the cold outside the room was cosy, warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly. Facilities are basic with a very small bar, a breakfast restaurant and a small lounge.

Our comfort room was generally well equipped, only lacking a mirror to use while drying hair. Bathroom toiletries were also limited and the provided tea was not to our taste.
