Quest Portland

Room had a self-service kitchen with a toaster to allow for your own European Breakfast (cereal from the well-stocked AGI grocery store 6 min walk from our rear second floor room. Extra everything can be aquired if you ask in advance or arrive before 5:30pm.

Hotel restaurant with 7 minutes walking distance. Room air conditioning unit was relatively quiet and the bed and pillows were fresh and comfortable. Beside lighting provided night-time convenience and a microwave and toaster complemented pur wish to have a European breakfast with light shopping at the local grocery store.

In general great place to stay. Great location, the room was very spacious. We only met reception staff, they were very lovely and made check-in/check-out process very smooth. There is a heated pool, we didn't use it but it looks clean. A few things can be improved though: bigger rubbish bin, better cleaning. On first sight the room was clean but we found a lot of hairs in bathrooms and on the furniture. All door handles were with greasy marks. Outside area is great but the balcony floor was really dirty, need a good mop. The drain in one of our bathrooms smelled so we had to keep vent on non-stop

More attention to cleaning

Just a quick stopover for our family of 5 - was plenty of space and everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to the main street of Portland and dining options etc. Bonus was an Aldi just around the corner, so easy to get basic supplies for brekkie etc.

No complaints from us - everything was as described and seemless check in and check out.

Everything we needed was there. Very clean. Close to shops.

Our room was right next to the swimming pool. The gate makes a big noise when it closes. Also excited children & adults shouting in the pool at 8.00am not good when you want a sleep in. Suggest requesting a room far away if you want quiet. Could do with a larger rubbish bin in the kitchen.

2 bed property but unallocated parking meant we had to park in the street as all car spaces were taken when we returned from the wedding we attended. Had do not disturb sign on room up until lunchtime because 4 adults preparing to attend wedding but when we were away all afternoon our towels did not get refreshed and nobody at reception to request clean towels at 11:30 pm

Everything was great in the room and even better having 2 bathrooms in our 2 bedroom apartment (plus the king sized bed was awesome). We cooked both nights and had every utensil needed. Washing machine and drier was appreciated as it was utilised a lot. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer so we can use the pool next time.

Clean, very close to main centre, quiet & very friendly staff and room assistants. everything you need when travelling with a family or extended time. washing facilities full kitchen fridge freezer dishwasher. Having all this in your accomodation gives you more time to go out and explore

had to re wash a couple dishes before using them and parking is tight you wouldn’t want a big car.

Large spacious apartments with good facilities including 100+ Foxtel channels and free movies on demand. Close to everything like marina, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Welcoming staff member at check in.

Dryer didn't dry very well (but having any sort of dryer is a bonus). A few minor maintenance issues that didn't bother us like rusty bathroom bin and a visible hole in one bed base.

Nice clean complex. Appeared to be in a quiet end of town. Beds were great.

Other guests were very loud late into the night. The construction of the building created a lot of echo and sound transfer between rooms, toilets flushing and the like. With windows open there was good airflow but it also let in plenty of noise. Too many outside lights shinning into bedroom.

The room was perfect for our family, and very clean and comfortable. It was great to have parking close to the room. My wife was also very grateful that the manager sent her forgotten wash bag back to her in Brisbane. Very much appreciated!!
