Quest Ivanhoe

The staff we're lovely and the location was very convenient. There was a Cafe next door a woolworths beside that and a really lovely Italian restaurant across the road. The rooms were spacious and clean, we had 2 rooms each with a bathroom and each with kitchen facilities.

The double doors between out 2 rooms were propped open with 2 door jams stacked. 2 minutes into our stay our 10 month old baby crawled into the other room knocked the door jam and the door flung closed. These doors are very heavy, if his fingers were in the way he would have lost them and he was then trapped on the other side.

Location was very good for our needs. Cafe on the ground floor was very good.

Apartment did not have a coffee plunger or pod machine. Some means of making a decent coffee is common place in accommodation at this level now. Also we stayed for 2 weeks and had to continually ask for replenishment of basics like toilet paper, soap and dish washing detergent. For the price we paid, the coffee issue and replenishment of supplies was disappointing.

The apartment was great with a comfortable bed, good kitchen and equipment, large bathroom with a washer and dryer. From the balcony we could see down to the city and over to the Dandenongs. Woolworths supermarket is located under the apartments which was very convenient.

The train line runs along the rear of the apartments, which is also close to the station. The early morning trains were a bit annoying.... even with the windows and sliding doors closed. The car spaces in the underground carpark were quite narrow and I was worried about my new car!

Convenient, comfortable, safe parking along with friendly efficient staff. Quiet place to rest after busy city activities.

Getting into the car park on arrival requires you to find a park, walk to the reception office to check in and receive a parking access. I like the park and its security. Perhaps a temporary code to put in and get in. Not too big a deal but on my last stay the weather was wet and windy outside.

The only problem was that the bedside clock in the room had very stiff buttons. I managed to set the time, but when I later returned to the room the alarm was sounding. I silenced the alarm but decided the best option was to turn the clock off at the wall in case the alarm sounded again during the night. Possibly due to the stiffness of the buttons, I was not able to make the alarm light go out.

Great location great staff everything you need is in the apartment

Our room on south side of building was pretty gloomy, due to facing the brick wall of the building next door. We were spoiled on our first stay with a view out to the east.

We love that we can get joining apartments really handy when we have a third person so they aren't by themselves as such still with own space. Staff are always happy and friendly, good safe parking and supermarket close.

Nothing,my partner and I have been happy on both occasions.

The staff at reception as well as the room cleaners were just lovely. I loved being able to zip downstairs to grab something from Woolworths.

The bathroom floor was slippery and I did hit my knee getting out of the bath/shower the first time. Lesson learned.

Location very central. Facilities good. Proximity to Railway line would both some people, but it wasnt an issue for ys as we were up early and working.

The tap function which converts shower spray to bath spout wasn't working and so a guest cannot gave a bath.

Nice bright reception area & entry. The receptionist was polite & very helpful. Our room was spacious & spotlessly clean. Good variety of bars, cafes, shops, PO, supermarket, newsagent all less than 5 min walk. A secure undercover carpark.

Everything was good.
