Abbotswood Motor Inn

I was quite pleasantly surprised by the motel, the rooms were roomy, and clean, and had fresh carpet that seemed to be very nice quality for the price of the room. We only stayed one night so didn't get a change at the pool or tennis facilities but given the rate the fact these are even on the property was impressive. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms was immaculate. The bed was comfy enough and the extra warm blanket and split system were appreciated. The shower was great too and the extra amenities (shampoo/soap/conditioner/face wipes/tissues/ biscuits and milk) were all great to have. Thanks for having us we'll likely be back next November.

The room was just perfect and quaint. In the room we had, the owner could even go up a bed size to a king and still have plenty of room. Make it super deluxe with a king 😉. Room was clean and had everything you needed including a microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle with cutlery and crockery. Even the bathroom was spacious!

Shower over bath. Only because I have limited mobility. But can understand the reason behind.

Exceptional staff especially Phil. On arrival my children wanted to use the pool. He came to the pool area and asked my girls what music they wanted on. Very accommodating. Rooms very clean tidy. Nice quiet area.

The lady in the room next to us kept asking us to keep the noise down. Which was my daughters loud voice as she has adhd and autism

All facilities good. Helpful staff to a query later in the day also.

Unfortunately, no blame to the operator, the next room this particular night had a very very loud streaming tantrum child. The noise went on intermittently until 1am approximately and then smaller each time the child stirred in the night. I cant imagine how the parents cope.

Excellent property. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for our purpose of catching the Spirit of Tasmania. The rooms were lovely, the beds were very comfortable and the heated indoor pool was fabulous. Would definitely stay again if in Geelong.

clean, close to our particular destination (sporting event) . Returned guest, as last time was pleasant. Staff are 10/10. Rooms are spacious & bathroom was spotless!

the only negative, would be parking is a little tight………but that’s Having to say a negative. They’re just a little tight.

We only used it for a place to rest our head after a wedding so our favourite part was the lovely staff who we dealt with

For what we used & the price it was great. Although the soap/shampoo dispenser was empty (we had other stuff to use which was fine!)

the staff are absolutely amazing. I had issues getting to the property for check in within the timeframes, the staff helped me pay over the phone and ensured I had access to the keys. makeup wipes are provided in the bathroom for easy and effective makeup removal

the pool was empty which didn’t matter too much as it’s winter and there was no shampoo in bathroom

Convenient access to amenities and very close to spirit of Tasmania. Cleanliness.

There was smokers in the adjacent rooms smoking outside. My wife and son have asthma and the smoke used to seep in the room. Luckily it was not that much.

It's very quite and safe and I would love to stay there again when I come to Geelong.

Was good enough I enjoyed it and lots of spaces as well there is nothing that I didn't like. I really appreciated and thanks for the good service too. Keep up the good work.
