I LOVE the view from my room. Absolutely beautiful. The owners are very nice and hospitable. It was so lovely to swim in the pool. I was here the first time in November 2021, the pool was dirty. Couldn't swim in there. It was terrible. However, now there are new owners and the pool was sparkling. It is clear the new owners are far superior in their care of the property. I returned because of the view and I was very glad to find the new owners care about the property and it shows. Thank you for a wonderful stay.😊💗

Nothing I didn't like.

The Riverbank Motel is under new management, and they are doing a terrific job. The rooms have been renovated and look very chic with the updates. The room was bright and inviting, and the bed was really comfortable. The view was magnificent. Worth a million dollars. The owners were friendly, accommodating and really helpful. The cold fridge at reception was a wonderful touch seeing that it was 36 degrees when we arrived, and a cold drink was in order. There is ample parking, and the motel is only a short stroll to downtown Bright and the shopping area.

I didn't like the fact that Booking.com were not forthright in providing our banking details to the owner, even though when you book a motel you are required to fill in all your banking details. This meant that the owner was ringing Booking.com to try and chase them up for our details. Apparently this was the situation with others that were also checking into the motel.

Perfect location - right on the riverbank and Canyon Walk and just a short stroll to the shops. Comfy bed. Obliging staff looked after my bags before & after check in/out, as I was travelling by public transport. Spacious room with nice view of the lawn & trees, looking towards the river.

The property and facilities looked a bit tired and in need of sprucing up, but I noted the motel is for sale, so I guess that explains why the current owners wouldn't want to invest more money at this stage. Everything was provided and worked though (except one bedside lamp). The socket was loose in the kitchen area, when plugging in the electric jug or toaster. It worked fine, just looked like it might become a safety issue in future. The air conditioner/heater worked fine, but was an older model, so noisy to operate. There was a large tear in the net curtain, but they still provided privacy. As mentioned though, the motel is in an excellent location, at an affordable price with friendly staff and all facilities provided, so would consider staying there again.

Been coming to this motel for years. Always find it a great place to stay. The location is basically right near the river,and you can see it from balcony rooms. The balcony or ground floors have table and chairs to go chill and relax and take in the surroundings. It’s close to walk to the town and close to doing the river walk. I would location is number one. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Always enjoy our stay here.

No dinner plates only small plates, which makes it hard if bringing dinner back to hotel. No wine glasses.

The location was great with our room overlooking the gardens and river. Walking distance into Bright Lounge area was quite spacious with a sliding door leading out to the garden. Outside furniture to relax in the gardens by the river.

The kitchenette (fridge with microwave on top), wardrobe, shower and toilet were all crammed into a small space, so it was a bit squishy.

Perfect location. Neat and tidy. Quite, sound proof rooms. Great view over the river. Shower was hot with great preasure. Coffee, tea etc available. Clean linen.

Considering that accommodation is overpriced in the area it was reasonable value. Could do with a little upgrade. Milk was to be in fridge but wasn't.

The location and amenities were excellent. It was a quiet and comfortable stay to sleep and very easy to find.

Only suggestion is a little shelf over the microwave / fridge area to place the toaster and kettle when using. Not a big deal but just thought might be a little safer as this is where the most accessible power points were.

Staff were lovely and gave good information about the area when asked. Rooms were tidy and shower was amazing, heater came in handy and warmed the room pretty quickly. Above all else the photos on the site gave no justice to the backyard the rooms opened out to. The trees and nature around the river that was but 10 steps away and flowing beautifully made the trip worthwhile, we even sat down on a bench next to river behind the motel and had a kookaburra land directly in front of us on a branch over the river 😍 how amazing!

Could use a bigger tv haha

Unfortunately I was only there for an hour due another lockdown forcing me to return home. However in the short time I was there: - excellent location - nice room with everything you need. - step out onto riverbank and oversee the river (beautiful) - close walking distance to town - really friendly and accomadating staff. They where great, offered me a refund straight away with no hassles but didn't rush me to get out. Even when I arrived, the whole getting your room was so easy and stress free. Really great people. Like I said I wasn't able to stay which was extremely dissapointing, but the time I was there, really great place

close to town. great value accommodation. the new managers are making really good improvements to the property.
