Aussie Resort

The staff were fantastic, so friendly ,so helpful, the air-con in my room played up but Ren (manager) was straight onto it and had it fixed by the next morning so my comfort wasn't disrupted ( thanks again Ren Ur a champion!) The unit I stayed in was heaps bigger than it looked in pics and the layout was great and I had the best sleeps the bed was incredibly comfy much better than my own bed back home ,triple glass on the window facing the road so the traffic noise was easily blocked out to ensure a great nites sleep and ofcoarse the pool was amazing and kept very clean ! It was a very friendly environment all in all and so close to the superb Burleigh beach and a short stroll to surf clubs for dinner and to the vibrant heart of town where you will find amazing dining and restaurants along with cool niche coffee shops breakfast bars and amazing selection of lunch time eatery's along with some great shopping it really is a cool little surf town. I totally recommend AUSSIE RESORT for a holiday destination it's location is perfect for seeing all the gold coast has to offer and bus stop is 1minute from the front gate ,how convenient! Close to the beach and the strip shopping was located nearby. The room was clean, which was all we ask. The decor was dated but ok for our stay. The shower was hot, unlike other places we have stayed at. Even though the Resort was on the Highway, there was very little noise. We always use public transport when staying on the Gold Coast and the bus stop was close by. There were plenty of places to eat and no complaints there either.

I usually go to medium high rises with lifts but due to a dearth of properties I booked a walk up instead. I knew Aussie was a fairly dated property from living on the Gold Coast 15 years ago but was really pleased with the quality of the 1 bedroom I got. Top floor overlooking the Aussie pool and gardens, unit was spic & span, had clearly been renovated at some point and the comfort of the unit was rounded out by beautiful quiet, night & day. The managers Ren & Ting Ting lovely people with the former helping me on day 1 to reboot Austar (full) which had apparently gone off line. Good bathroom, comfy lounge and bed and well equipped kitchen. Will stay again as long as I can get the same unit.

Small issue, I found the remote controlled fans in lounge & bedroom very hit and miss in turning off and on. This is not unique to this property however with my previous experience at other properties the same.

Perfect location, right across from the beautiful beach. Supermarkets, restaurants, cafe all in walking distance. Refreshing pool, underground secure parking. Very nice stuff, very nice mix between residents and travelers in the hotel. Awesome bbq spot with everything what you need.

Bit outdated furniture. Mattress on the fold out couch has seen better days. A glass table with kids is a nightmare. Just as a couple in the bed would be perfect

Loved the big bed, that the bathroom was from the bedroom and not seperate Modern furnishings Quiet street but close to everything Nicely kept gardens

Booking didn't go through properly second time around, luckily there was a spare room available, would have been a pain if there were no rooms due to computer error.. also lots of stairs and unit was only reachable from the garage through sets of stairs through the pool area. Not a big issue, but was hard getting everything up and down with a little one.

great location, short walk to commune cafe etc, 5-10 min walk to major supermarkets, 5 sec walk to the beach, 5-10 min walk to great restaurants Justin Lane area. The managers of Aussie Resort were very accommodating, the rates were great. The resort and facilities were very well maintained. I stayed in two apartments for the duration of my stay, both were very well appointed and clean. I would definitely stay again

One of the apartments had a water hammer in the shower and the other lacked privacy due to the location near the gate - eitherway it didnt effect my stay.

Apartment was lovely, clean, comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. It's very well located, close to shops, beach at a very short walking distance. Staff is superb!

It is a little expensive for a one-bedroom apartment, possibly it's just that prices in Australia are getting crazy high but I think we could've got a cheaper place with the same features.

The room was nice and comfortable. In particular the lounge and dining area was a good size. Lounges, bed and pillows were very comfortable. LOVED the pool and spa. Also the outside area had a picturesque garden and pretty lights.

Would have been good if the Bathroom had an exhaust fan and maybe something to block the Sun streaming through the Bathroom window as it made the Bathroom extremely hot. The cleanliness was lacking a little and the shower and toilet in particular could have been cleaner. Felt like I’d gone into the room straight after the last tenant.

I like the spa, it's the highlight of our stay there. The kids also liked the sofa bed. The location is perfect.. close to the beach (1-minute walk only).

The bed isn't very comfortable, the spring also makes a tired sound when you sit or lie on it. Also didn't like the fact that our towels were not changed during the 4 night stay, I know it's a long weekend, but some spares would do.

A big THANK YOU to Ting Ting and Ren for your hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness. Great location 1 minute to the beach and 10 minutes walk to Burleigh Heads shopping strip. Our large one-bedroom unit is clean, with a comfy bed, block out blinds, a good kitchen, hot showers with great water pressure, quick free internet, a nice balcony to sit in the afternoons, a fabulous pool/spa and secure undercover car parking. Nothing more we could ask for!!!!
