Dive Hotel

I love this hotel. It is right across from the beach. I had an ocean view room with a small balcony on a busy street and it was still quiet in the room. I asked to check in early and someone came to meet me. I never needed or saw any staff-person again which was fine with me. The room was super clean, has lots of outlets and a lamp by the bed. It's not fancy but it had every thing I need, a nice modernist style, and the beach right across the street.

Great location facing the beach, good value for money and the room was very spacious, with a mini kitchenette. The owners communicated well pre arrival as reception is not managed all the time re arrival time etc. Why more elsewhere when you can get what you need for half the price at the Dive. Given location you have loads of places to eat, drink, supermarket, buses for transport

Obviously the location is fantastic easy to city, shops & railway. Room was small but quite comfortable.

The bathroom is very small and awkward to shave and clean your teeth etc. basin too low. The shower flow however is excellent lovely and hot. As we are older now we found it very difficult getting our cases up the narrow stairs to our room. If you are elderly I would advise requesting a ground floor unit.

Footpath at front is under repair, made arrival and leaving a bit tougher than it needs to be (steps and ramps). I think for the price rooms need to be serviced - I was there 3 nights, no clean towels or bed made - probably would have if I asked but it should just happen.

How spacious it felt, the location and ocean view, the atmosphere and cleanliness, as well as smart TV not to mention bonus electricals to be used like iron and hair dryer. I was very impressed by all of it!

The shower entrance could use a small water blocker that way the water doesn't flow past the entrance, otherwise very comfortable hotel/living space.

Excellent location! You can walk to all the bars, restaurants and beach. We could hear the ocean from our room. The room had a fridge, iron, microwave, cutlery and cups. The bathroom was small but fine for 2 nights. The room was a good size. Excellent communication with the managers. We would stay again.

This was not a huge problem for us but as the place is older, you can hear people walking around.

Every time I go to Sydney I book this lovely place. It doesn’t look flash from the outside but when you go in the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and happy to go that extra mile to make sure your stay there is a pleasant experience

Clean & central. Secure parking for $30 a night on the property which we used saved us the hassle of street parking in Coogee which was packed! AC very good, bed linen clean and mattress comfortable, bathrooms clean & great shower pressure.

The queen balcony room door is not sealed & located right near the second level entrance which means you can hear people coming in and talking at all hours of the morning. I recommend staying in a room without balcony if your hearing is sensitive to late nights arrivals.

perfect location opposite coogee beach and just round the corner from all the shops and restaurants in coogee bay road. the bed was comfortable and the room had a little area to make tea and coffee. we arrived late but access was very easy with good instructions from the management.

it was fine for us but access to the property and the rooms is up a flight of stairs.

wonderful location, my balcony room was large and the en suite and kitchenette were well designed

on my previous visit there was a communal breakfast in the garden room and I was disappointed that was no longer available
